Ordered a filet and shrimp lunch special rice only. Order was repeated at pick up. I received the order with an abundance of vegetables in which I am allergic. I called the restaurant to state the issue with order. I was treated very rude by the staff that answered the phone. No apology for error in order. He was very rude. And stated bring it back but dont touch the food!! What is that about? (Will they re serve it to someone else? That is clearly against health code) I will not return nor recommend. Now I have wasted my time money and lunch break to only still not be able to eat. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STAFF

Tonight at Osaka, I had the best version of bento box that I have ever had at this location. I don’t know if they got a new cook or something but everything was 10 times better than it had been previously when I’ve gone there and of course it wasn’t so bad that I didn’t wanna come back And the bento box. Dinner is a lot of value for your money but tonight it was just extra special. the food is really really good and like I said, I don’t know if they got a new cook or something, but it was just awesome and I felt like it was deserving of leaving a review. I don’t do this very often.

My daughter and I went to get food to go this evening…had the opportunity to speak with Wen (owner) for quite some time!!! I usually shy away from “smoked salmon”, but he said the Helena Roll was one of the favorites on the menu. HE WAS RIGHT! The crab, cream cheese, and smoked salmon paired perfectly! Thanks for the conversation and for turning me to a new favorite!

A few friends and I ate at Osaka after church this past Sunday. It was standing room only when we arrived. They are a quaint place with friendly staff. After about 20 minutes we were seated. All of us decided on having the Habichi shrimp meal. The meals did not disappoint and were delicious. I will go back to dine and recommend them to anyone hunting an Asian restaurant. Fairly extensive menu and they do serve alcohol.

We love coming to Osaka with our friends who live in Helena! I love the sushi, and the hibachi meals are such a great value. I love that they come with noodles, so many places don’t do that! Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in Helena!
I travel the country weekly and eat sushi often. I think Osaka must be the best sushi in Alabama. It's among the best quality/value sushi in the country in fact. If you go to Sugarfish in Manhattan or similiar (you'd pay >$100 for that) sure you get premium fish and a classy experience, but if you simply want very good, impressively good sushi anywhere near here, look no further than Osaka. I could say...I'd drive from Birmingham to Helena for this sushi. Price is reasonable and quality is very good.

My Husband and I are back in town, for business this time & decided to give Osaka a try & we’re more than pleased! A Friendly staff, to smooth ordering (knowledgeable & helpful waiter). The winner was their cuisine, so for starters my Yaki Chicken Udon meal included: Miso soup = 10 & Ginger dressing Salad = 10 / (my hubby asked, if they served egg rolls - to my surprise, they said yes, 2 in an order) 2 egg rolls w/ sweet sauce = 10. • We both shared a Special “roll for the day”: Osaka Californian = 10. Lastly, his Shrimp fried Rice also gave = 10. • We will eat again before leaving town & upon our return as well. A New Fave on our list to frequent.
