“Our daughter couldn't be happier with her wedding cake from Valor Bakery! It was absolutely stunning-especially with the delicate pearl accents, and a gorgeous cascade of fresh flowers. It looked like a work of art and was a true showstopper at the reception. Even better, it tasted just as amazing as it looked. Each tier was moist, flavorful, and had our guests raving. Kathy incorporated her much loved strawberry cake into one of the tiers and it was delicious!! Kathy was a joy to work with— professional, creative, and truly passionate about her craft. But she was especially patient and kind throughout the entire process. She brought our daughter’s dream to life, and she was thrilled with the final result! If you want a cake that's both beautiful and delicious, we highly recommend Valor Bakery!! Thank you again for making Sophie’s big day even sweeter!”

“Enjoyed the food at our first visit to BJ’s in Ashville. The food was really good and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The only thing I thought needed to be added to the menu is gumbo. One with shrimp and the other with sausage. Will return.”

“My husband and I decided to go with pasta for our wedding dinner and stumbled across this family owned restaurant to cater for us. We are not from the area, so we saw reviews and took the chance. I am SO happy we did! He also owns ‘Classic Creations Catering,’ but wanted to leave a review here as well. We got salad, chicken Alfredo, lasagna, rolls, and sweet tea. Everyone kept commenting on how yummy the food was. The real crowd pleaser was the Alfredo, but everything was absolutely amazing! Scott was phenomenal to work with. He was very communicative, thorough, and was available if we had any questions/concerns. He checked on us and went through our order multiple times over the process just to make sure he had everything right. He even reached out after the wedding to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which showed he really cared about our experience. Portions were plentiful, leaving us with yummy leftovers for the following day. You simply cannot beat the quality at the price point. Drop off was seamless and he was promptly on time. I only met him very briefly, but every interaction with him exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be! I highly recommend working with Scott to deliver top tier service!!!”

“The food is always fresh & cooked to order. Great breakfast freshly prepared. They also have amazing daily plate specials, BBQ, salads, burgers, shrimp, catfish & more! But the meat & 3 is my go to! Tons of veggies to choose from. The hamburger steak plate is huge I like it with gravy n onions, fried okra & mash taters. I love the texas toast served with it as well. They offer rolls & cornbread with every meal. The staff is friendly. The cooks work so hard to deliver us a wonderful meal every single time! The owner is always friendly & thanks you for dining with them.”

“I gave it five stars for atmosphere because what better atmosphere could there be than such a nostalgic sugary smell permeating every olfactory cell? I’m very judgmental of doughnuts that don’t meet the mark, so when I say these are the best doughnuts I’ve ever eaten, it’s not overstated. The croissant doughnut when heated is so rich and layered. The lemon doughnut was crammed full

“The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is fantastic! Chili burger was amazing, and coworkers loved their burger and Philly as well.

There is no indoor seating, which is fine. It's covered and there are fans to keep the air moving and keep it relatively cool, but there were a ridiculous amount of flies buzzing around. When you're outside there's going to be flies of course, but had to dock a star because of the sheer volume of them today.”

“Way out in the country, down a road you wouldn’t expect a restaurant — it’s built out of a converted river barge. The fried catfish was the real deal. Don’t expect fancy plating — it’s all about comfort, flavor, and that “we’re here, off the grid” vibe. Great for a detour.”
