Went here last weekend and pizza was just as good since the last time! Great Customer Service, Great Atmosphere and Great Pizza!! Will definitely stop by again next time we're in Homewood!!

Dave's Pizza is a beloved Homewood staple. It's a casual local pizza joint that offers an outdoor/open-air dining space. The pizza is delicious, and the atmosphere is laid-back.
Most recently, my husband and I planned our Rehearsal Dinner at Dave's Pizza, and it was such a special experience! We have a large family and knew we wanted to arrange a more causal Rehearsal Dinner that could accommodate a bigger group of people. Brett, the manager, helped us plan the event and was incredibly accommodating throughout the process. On the night of the event, everything flowed smoothly, and everyone was very impressed with the caliber of service and food options. I’m so grateful we were able to incorporate such a special place into our wedding weekend. We have so much love for Dave's Pizza – check it out if you haven’t already!

Very eclectic visually, interesting. Loud(fans?) The pizza was pretty good. Rated "best pizza in Homewood" I think I saw. I was just in town for work, if I come back, I'd try another restaurant for variety, but if you want pizza, try it out. My really fussy reasons for not giving 5 stars, all just personal preferences, pizza unevenly sliced, toppings the same way and not evenly distributed, the olives(that I was told they didn't even have)were whole(!) Greek olives, which seemed strange. Obviously OCD kicked in. 😂

We liked the location and the open air seating.. but that was it. After waiting nearly an hour for appetizers (and one person getting her entree before the appetizers). Was told they had a wedding party the night before so the "ovens were running slow".....whatever that means. The irony was that my buddy ordered a sandwich that wasn't even cooked in the oven, but his food came last. About 20 mins after we got ours and 40 mins after his wife's (so our cooked food was good and cold by then.) They offered us free dessert. Will never go back.
Top notch service and ingredients... the owner actually cares for the community 🖤🖤🖤multiple tail wags( fur babies welcome)

Interesting place.... I've eaten lunch here a few times and it was very good. Not wonderful but definitely very good and I came back. And may still again. But today I went in for a 2:30 late lunch and ordered a "margarita " pizza and a draft beer. That was the weirdest thing I've ever seen cooked in a pizza oven. I truly felt sorry for it!.., and the flattest beer I've had in a while. It had balsamic poured over it after it was cooked instead of olive oil, Burnt to a crisp, with spinach and huge tomatoes. Not to be a complete pizza snob but this was a little too much. The waiter did take it off my ticket after checking the menu first to see if that was how it was supposed to be made.? But he was very nice. I paid for the flat beer and tipped him. I would suggest stick to the buffet. That is apparently what they want you to do anyway...
