Everything about this place is ‘pretty decent’. I had the New York style chicken and rice and while it wasn’t anything worthy of getting twice it wasn’t too bad. The service was fairly slow for being only about 3 people there for lunch time but it was probably low staffed for the quieter hours. It was good for a meal and I’m glad I gave it a try but I won’t be busting down the doors to go back. Would go back with some friends for a quick bite but no where I would go as a regular.

My wife and I came her for the first time. The food was good and the atmosphere was what you would expect for a tavern type restaurant. What really stood out to us was the service. Emily was our server and she was awesome. She was incredibly friendly and always checking on us and making us feel important. My wife and I noticed another customer sitting next to us treating Emily very rudely and I have to say that I was embarrassed for that customer. I’m not sure why people act like that and we felt sorry that Emily had to deal with it. But, Emily maintained her composure and was incredible. The rest of the staff seemed very nice as well. We will certainly come back again and we will always try to sit in Emily’s section.

My first and last time at this restaurant. My waitress Emily was nice at first but boy did I see another side of her. My total was $20.89. I gave her 21.00. She told me that they don't give change back because people usually pay with cards. This is the dumbest and most absurd thing I ever heard of. What business keeps customers' change? I asked, so you're just going to keep my money?" She laughed at me as if I'm crazy and said it's just 11 cents. Wow! What kind of person says this to a customer? She told me she would have to get the change from her car or the bar. I told her to keep it. She brought it anyway. She had an attitude when she put the coins on the table. These are the times we're living in. A lot of people in her age group have no respect, accountability, or humility. The food was so disappointing. My salmon and brussel sprouts were bland. I came here because the online reviews were good but I was not impressed. The prices are not worth it.

Came her on Memorial Day and was seated very quickly. Ordered the cedar salmon with yellow rice. Salmon was very tasty but the rice fell short and had no flavor. The greens served also were very tasty. Overall a good experience.

Visited on a Tuesday night and it was pretty empty. Service was good, food was quick and the beer is cold. Plenty of TV's for viewing any sporting event that was going on that night,they had every angle covered.

The bartender was nice. I ordered a take out veggie burger with sweet potato fries. I don't think I will be going back after this time. The burger was salty and I paid an extra 1.99 for sweet potato fries and received a little. I've ordered a veggie burger other times and it's never been salty. I wasn't pleased with this order.

Stopped in to the Hickory Tavern for lunch. I had the Pecan Rubbed, Smoked Cedar Salmon, Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Tater Tots. Everything was prepared perfectly & was absolutely delicious!Salute to my wonderful server Candace. She was very polite, professional & just a Sweetie. She was there for anything I needed.Anytime I'm in the Homewood area, I'm coming back to the Hickory Tavern!I love how they support The Independence Fund to help Veterans!

Stopped in to the Hickory Tavern for lunch. I had the Pecan Rubbed, Smoked Cedar Salmon, Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Tater Tots. Everything was prepared perfectly & was absolutely delicious! Salute to my wonderful server, Candace. She was very polite, professional & just a Sweetie. She was there for anything I needed. Anytime I'm in the Homewood area, I'm coming back to the Hickory Tavern! I love how they support The Independence Fund to help Veterans!
The wings had more of a char taste than I prefer. Our waiter kept disappearing and we sat with empty drinks for way to long. I looked up and spotted our waiter across the room on his phone and he stood there looking at his phone for well over 15 minutes while we sat looking around for service.

We have lunch at Hickory Tavern once a week. My husband loves the smokehouse burger and gets it every week. He won’t order a burger anywhere else. I love the smokehouse burger but I tend to lean toward healthier choices. I love the Asian power bowl with tuna and the shrimp tacos. The service is always excellent from friendly, courteous staff. Will is the best bartender and Jason is a super manager.

Not good parking because they're kind of down on the main strip which main strip is not really parking oriented, there's parking decks, so it's going to be a walk, you come at night the rest of the parking places are open because of the fact of the shopping center is not closed basically so you'll be able to park.
