As a tea lover, I was excited to hear about the fun flavor opening at Homewood Nutrition. The shop is located right off of Oxmoor road and wasn't a hard find. The inside is bright and colorful, with big windows that let in lots of sunshine. I thought the bar set up was really cute and gave the place more personality.There are plenty of menu items to choose from but don't be afraid to ask for help, their team made things easy. I stopped by before a road trip so I wanted something to help me stay alert and focused while driving. I landed on the Happy Camper loaded tea and definitely enjoyed the fruity flavors, though it did have a slight medicinal after taste. You're also going to spend more than your traditional coffee shop order, but these drinks also have additional nutrition benefits.Overall I'm happy to have this as an early morning option to help kick

First of all, the atmosphere here is so amazing! The day I went it wasn't too busy so I was able to get my nutrition tea back really fast. I loved the vibes here. This was my very first time coming here, and they were really helpful with helping pick out a tea. You can pick a tea or shake based on what kind of nutrients you need. I typically love flavors that have the color blue so the tea I picked was blue. I ended up not liking the tea, but I think it is just because I am not a fan of tea. I don't think there were any strict COVID protocols being that COVID is not severe anymore. The teas are very nutritional and healthy though so I would definitely try it again, but I would try a different flavor.

SHAKE IT OFF! Absolutely atrocious! After walking around Patriot Park, I stated to get the hankering for something blended, sweet and delicious. What I was really craving was a milk shakes, but figured because Homewood Nutrition was so close by (across the street) then I would just work with what was around. I have never had a protein shake before but have been curious about them for a while now. I tried to use that as a talking point when I entered the store. As I entered two young gentlemen were behind the counter. One had on a white shirt and the other red. They asked how they could help me and my answer was "I am not sure" from that response I was expecting them to ask follow up questions or help me to understand a little more about what a protein shake is and how it benefits people. But no... It became very awkward very quickly. To break the silence I then stated I had never had a protein shake before. Hoping maybe that would get the conversation started a little more. But nope, it was still awkward. They were staring at me like I had seven heads... As I walked over to the menu I took a few pictures of the menu on the wall. The man in the white shirt said "our menu is online" okay and I thought to myself. As I was reading through the pictures I took on my phone (I have some minor vision issues and sometimes cannot read small print so by taking pictures of menus I can zoom in on my phone so I can read). The man kept saying that I should not be taking photos. Even though it is not stated anywhere in the store that pictures are not allowed. I was clearly having a hard time making a decision about what to get. I had asked for some recommendations. Telling them that I liked sweet flavors. All they could tell me was to read the menu. What kind of customer service is this? I was appalled. Finally the man in the red suggested the waffle cone protein shake. I just agreed with that one because that is all I could get out of them. As I was paying and leaving the man in the white again told me to not take pictures. Exclaiming they have copyright on their menus and that any pictures taken could get people into trouble. Now if this was stated in the beginning or even a simple question was asked as to why I was taking photos then I would not have such a terrible experience here. But by not explaining or even having the proper signage, it made for a terrible experience. The shake I got was just okay. Then again, as previously stated, I do not know anything about protein shakes. What's supposed to taste good or even bad. It was sweet, which was what I had asked for. But I think next time if I am craving a certain thing like a milkshake I am going to go get a milkshake instead. I will not be returning to Homewood Nutrition. The customer service was awful. No one explained to me what the benefits of protein shakes are and finally, the photo rules are not stated anywhere where you can easily see them and know this before getting reprimanded by the uncanny men who work here. If you are big into nutrition or a fan of protein shakes, then I would highly suggest taking your business else where. This place is utterly disgusting.
