I placed an online order for pickup at 11am! I didn’t receive everything I paid for (French toast, sausage links, & eggs scrambled with cheese) & called back about it! The manager told me I could keep the food I was given & come back later for my replacement! When I got there for the replacement, the manager only allowed them to give me French toast by itself..no side & no meat! When I said I don’t want bread by itself, I want a refund, the manager refused & said I need the food from this morning to receive a refund & if I wanted another side & meat I need to order it but they weren’t giving me anything extra! I told her I noticed the sign about leaving Google reviews & would be leaving one & she said “that’s fine, I will come on there & say what I told you!” Customer service is AWFUL with horrible attitudes!

Egg and hash browns portions have definitely gotten smaller by about 30-40% on my last visit. I had the sampler and it used to fill the plate with has browns and my two eggs, even the ham is cut smaller.

The only complaint I have is whoever was cooking was either having a really bad day or needs some more training. We had most of our food left on the table because the taste was awful. The service was great but the food had no seasoning and was over cooked.

Myself and 3 of my family members visited the Homewood IHOP, off Lakeshore on 12/5/2025. Shay was a great host and server. She was very pleasant, gracious, and attentive. My food was pretty good. The Cinnamon Crepes was great 🤩; the eggs were prepared, per my request (cheese was $1.69 extra 🤬; the breakfast meat and hash browns were okay, but I was expecting a better quality of bacon (so thin). One of the guest order a T-bone steak. The steak did not look good to me when it arrived, and the guest said that the taste wasn't much better. The drinks were too high, but that issue is the same at most restaurants. I would return, and reorder what I had again.... Make sure you tip your server, especially if he or she have provided good service. (Ask about the $6.00 menu 😉).
My husband ordered a sampler platter and it looked horrible. He wanted scrambled cheese eggs with bacon and hash browns. The eggs looked awful. They were not even close to scrambled cheese eggs and the hash browns looked like they just got them out of the fridge and put a really light brown texture on top. The only thing that was good looking was the bacon. Our server was a sweet heart. She understood why we wasn’t happy and the manager tried to tell us that the reason why his order was like that was b/c a lot of people like their food like that and we didn’t agree with that and we asked to remove it from the bill and said we wouldn’t be returning

The server was ok but the rest rest of the experience was awful. 3 out of 5 of my family members got sick, throwing up. We ordered breakfast and dinner. The hash browns were a solid brick of potatoes, the French toast was not done, the chicken tenders were cold, and the burger was burnt. There was only 1 other table in the restaurant other than us and the wait was ridiculous. They gave our kids menus with activities but had no crayons pens or anything. We even used our own pwn to sign out check and when the pen didn't work she pulled out 1 broken orange crayon and wanted us sign a credit card slip with it! Luckily I found another pen in my purse. I did notice we were given 2 of the kids meals free on the receipt. If I could give a half star I would.
