The food and service was good
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, GREAT FOOD, GOOD LOCATION!!!
Order was accurate, food was excellent, the store was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
I went to this restaurant two days ago. Purchase included x2 cucumber/tomatoe salads, and x2 large bowls of tortilla soup totaling $19.76. Left for return home while eating one of the salads and was deeply dissatisfied. Had to end up at chick-fil-a for salad dressing (apple cider vinegarete) x2. Went a little further & tried the tortilla salad a soup and it was uneasy and thin with no real pieces of chicken in it! I immediately made contact back at the store & requested “store manager”. Got the young lady who helped me at the drive thru who identified herself as one of the managers. I explained my findings to her and after a long drawn out conversation sh agreed to replace my full meal. She also explained how she could not refund my money back as well. Later the evening at 3:07 pm I saw that I had missed a call from the same store with no message concerning who or why I received the call from to find out it was the manager over the young lady who had spoken with me earlier however he had left for the day. I called again the next morning and got the young man on the phone. He wanted me to repeat my issue to him & I expressed my concerns that I really preferred he speak with his other manager since a resolution for a full replacement of the meal was already been decided & agreed on. He spoke with me briefly by agreed. However, I asked if I could just pick something else of equal value and he agreed. I called again on yesterday, 04/16/2025 & placed an order for x2 bake potatoes with xtra chicken on each, and a southwest grill chicken salad with xtra meat. I was told the order would be $50. When I got to the store drive thru a young male manager came to the window & informed me in a very unprofessional manner that I owed additional money for my order. I gave him my ticket for the credit of $19.76, $22 on a credit card & $9 cash. He stayed at the window over talking me trying to convince me that I had called him that morning & we had agreed that he would only replace the x2 cucumber salads! We argued in disagreement for a while but he continued to question me & overtalked me on the issue of what we had agreed too! I told him that I came to that store from Trussville and would have never in a million years driven that far for 2 $1.99 salads. He shut the window & locked it on me walking off. Came back & opened it claiming that I was raising my voice at him. I had to tell him that he could not direct me on the level of how I speak as an scapegoat for his lies. He began to raise his tone with me & I told him I was 70 yo & he was very, very unprofessional & disrespectful. I also told him that this would not be the end of my concerns just because I chose to return to the window because he had not refunded my money back. I have never been treated quite that bad from no establishment I choose to patronize. In my opinion, if I had to go back, I would not go back to that store ever again. I would also want others that I would know not to do the same.
Fresh food and very tasty! We hadn’t been in a long time and were reminded of how much we love this deli.
Third time is the last. Service is ridiculously slow. To many other options near by.
I would not go back. I love McCalisters but this particular location I will not visit again. I visited both Friday and Saturday of this past weekend and I don’t understand how my $10.99 shareable became $21.58 which I didn’t realize until I made it back to my hotel. Against better judgement I still visited that Saturday. And with ordering the shareable ultimate nachos I received an empty box in the place of the chips. Upon returning to the resting I let the guy I think his name may have been Marcus (the short older black guy with the braids) know I didn’t have any chips. He accused me of stealing them and said I ate them. I had to ask him to roll back the cameras to see that I was provided with an empty box and no chips were ever placed in there. He gave me an attitude and only let the younger guy give me chips when I said it’s ok I’ll be reporting you. I also don’t understand why my shareable and my full size nachos I had the same portion size on both meals on Friday and Saturday.
My mom and I stopped here for a late lunch. Everyone was very nice even though they were busy. We both got the gluten free bread due to allergies and it was delicious. They got all the edits to our sandwiches correct. Everything was clean. Will definitely be returning here, it was a pleasurable experience!
Good food, friendly staff.
I normally go here for pickup but I'm not sure what happened today. I paid almost $17 for a cup of beans and half a sandwhich with no au jus. Very disappointed. The past times I order the gumbo soup it was soup. This is bea slurry no soup and they forgot my au just sauce for my sandwich. My sandwich is cold. Come on yall...

Employees were awsome.
5s all across the board. Whenever I'm in Birmingham, I stop by to a choose 2, veggie spud and sandwich with an iced tea.
Staff not very friendly or prompt. No greeting and we waited for 10 mins before someone came to the register. There was one older lady employee who took the time to smile and greet as she brought out the food.
Sanitation is 89, didn’t notice until I took a bite, YIKES!! She took my order WRONG. Food is good. Get the your number up.
Great food, easy ordering very helpful staff.
