I would not recommend coming here. The service was pretty good. However, the food is worse than Outback Steakhouse. Not worth over $150 at all. The $18 Oyster Rockefeller was some melted cheese and bacon in an oyster shell. Some shells didn’t even have an oyster. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant, this isn’t it.Update:After a terrible response from the restaurant, let me further clarify. It doesn’t matter the quality of your beef if you can’t cook it. The steak I had was not seasoned and half burned on one side. I was well aware of the price of the restaurant prior to making reservations. That’s why I chose the restaurant hoping to receive a nice dining experience.

NOTE: I edited my review because they contacted me ASAP to explain the Birmingham weather situation!Closed, entrance padlocked, had to go to B-Dubs. Was really looking forward to a ribeye!!EDIT: appreciate your response, and understand the reason. If I can't make it tomorrow, I will do so my next trip (one of every 4 weeks) and adjust my review accordingly!

This was my 1st and last time eating here. I and my husband came in thinking it's beautiful in here and looked well organized. Fast forward, we ordered water and I asked for a straw and it took 10 minutes to get that. We were not asked if we wanted an appetizer. The Lamb chops are good but definitely not worth $52.00. Once food was out, I asked for water 3 times and no lie I did not get it, til I was about to go. They are charging u a tip upfront Knowing they are not going to give u good service. The service sucks. They don't keep your drinks filled nor do they check on you. The lady with the earring hook in her nose has awful service. I guess her name is Danestris? I can say they checked on us 1 time and that's out of 1 hour. They need some quality people working there. The POINT is, whether they give bad or awful service, they're saying, we're still getting PAID. Michael's Restaurant service sucks! Please DONT GO THERE!Parking: Parking is awful.

It is restaurant week, so I had the lambchops. They were perfectly prepared! It came with my choice appetizer or dessert and my choice of soup or salad. I had the bread pudding. I think it was the best I have ever had, and I lived in New Orleans for about 12 years! They are doing many things right here!

I wish I could leave zero stars. The expectation was not met at all. Waited over an hour for a piece of food to hit the table. The drinks were half made. The service was extremely slow. And the prices were inflated, and not to mention a deposit was required that wasn’t credited towards the meal. SHAMEFUL!

Went on valentine's day , service was extremely slow, portions were extremely small, we waited over two hours before main dish came out. Highly un recommended , price didn't match experience at all

We came here for valentine's day and it was incredibly overpriced. The food was decent but not good enough to be that pricey. The online menu is not that expensive but they had a "special valentines menu" where the cheapest thing was 60 dollars. Service was not amazing either, they brought my partner the wrong starter and there's a 20% gratuity automatically added. Also, there's a fee to use a card. Ambience was not great either, many tables were uncomfortably close together. Overall one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had.
