Super homey atmosphere and kid-friendly vibes. Our server was very attentive and sensitive to any dietary/allergy restrictions. I could tell the ice cream was fresh and it was very flavorful! I can't wait to return to try the ice cream sundae.

UN CONE- DITIONALLY I WILL LOVE YOU! Neighbors, a wonderful ice cream store located in West Homewood. This area of town is possibly one of the safest areas of town. With tons of restaurants and other businesses around, as well as a private school right down the road. I've been to Neighbors before and loved it. So when I was planning on having a girls night with a friend I decided to show her a new spot, that I knew she hadn't been to before. Thursday nights at Neighbors are different as they typically have a food truck outside to lure more people inside. I had seen on Instagram that the food truck was going to be there until 8pm and we were planning on arriving in the window. Unfortunately, upon arrival the truck was gone. So sad we missed the food truck. When we came inside there was one employee. She seemed a little distracted by her phone. As soon as we came inside it seemed she had just started a phone call. But quickly hung up when she saw customers were inside. Honestly this employee was a bit aloof. Not the customer service I had seen before, when Ms April was manning the counter. We were told we could have as many samples as we wanted. Typically in this situation I tend to limit myself. Even though I can try multiple flavors, I don't want to be that one person who hold up the line due to not knowing what I want or tasting everything then settling for something basic like vanilla. I tried one flavor, the dark chocolate raspberry. As soon as I tasted this flavor I knew this was what I was going to be ordering. The flavor combination worked very well. Almost like a cherry cordial, but with a raspberry twist. Delicious. I do really like this business and hope it continues to succeed. Hopefully when I return I'll be able to make it when one of the food trucks is there. All of the flavors are delicious, you can't go wrong with any of them.

We are new to the community and had a wonderful first experience at Neighbors yesterday! Our children have allergies and it can sometimes be quite the challenge to find treats that they are able to enjoy. The manager, April, warmly greeted us, welcomed us to the community, and thoroughly explained the vegan offerings and ingredients in stock. The shop also had a really good food truck on its property ( Satay N' Roll Sushi) and nice 80s vibes going with the music. The shop's location is also excellent as it is firectly across from Patriot Park and near several other restaurants and shops. I foresee making many more memories at this ice cream shop and highly recommend them.

I went with my wife to get some ice cream and we couldn't have been happier with our trip to Neighbors. The owner was super friendly and offered us multiple flavors to try and was even telling us about some specials they make. I'm definitely going to have to go back for a coffee ice cream shake. The store was very clean and spotless and we were taken care of in a very timely manner. 5 stars for sure and we will be back soon.
I had the pleasure of visiting Neighbors West this past weekend. I felt like I was transported back to my childhood with my Cookie Monster/Birthday Cake/Cotton Candy Sundae with whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherries on top. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, the shoppe was cute and clean, and the management and employees were super friendly. 10/10 will be coming back in the near future.
