The food is always fresh and very good. It's a meat and two, or three, or a veggie plate. They usually have about 4 meats to choose from and 5-6 veggie. They have 4-5 dessert. Everything is good.

Tired of the fast food catagory... this is your way out. The food was delicious. There was a selection of meats, vegetables, and deserts. Pricing was also reasonable for the servings. There is nothing like having a good glass of sweet tea to top it off.

Nice place but food seems to taste non seasoned and mashed potatoes are not the original potatoes they are more so the generic potatoes which aren’t so tasty to me. However I did order the chopped steak with green beans and mashed potatoes for a total of $11.37 . I give that a 3 out of 10. Nothing really had any flavor not even the corn bread muffin. I think this will be the perfect place for people who can’t eat a lot of salt nor sugar. But I given this restaurant a 4 star only because the employees were so kind and nice. They need some real soul food in that place.

Once, my wife and I got to the table with our food. We waited 5 to 10 minutes to eat cause the server was no place to be found. We had no water or tea to wash it down with. I had to get the cashiers attention, and she had to wave the server down. The food was good, but I did not have a sauce for my chicken. It took longer than we thought it did to get drinks.

Had the chicken livers, they were over done and hard. Potatoes and gravy tasted instutionalized, not homemade. Pie was not home made either and overpriced as was the tea.
