Have you ever tasted perfection? Simone’s is that. They have got my wife and I in a choke hold we buy it almost once a week. From the pasta to the catfish to don’t even get me started on the bayou fries. This place is heavenly and the best food close to us!

Mac and Cheese Review: I visited three separate occasions. Great texture, good portion, but lacking flavor & there’s an abundance of sour cream used. Overall great customer service.

Trying to understand how every time I come there I have to ask 2-3 different people to check on my order. Tonight I had to ask the guy in the back cooking. He helped me out. Whoever was serving, never even cared to check. Last time I had to ask a different guy. Servers never actually help me get my order. Never. Order placed at 8:05. I got my food at 9:50.

I recently visited Simone’s Kitchen, and I really wanted to support this new Black-owned restaurant in Birmingham. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The portion sizes were also great for the price, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the food as much as I hoped.I had shrimp hibachi, The rice and vegetables were undercooked, which made the meal difficult to eat, and I wasn’t able to enjoy it the way I wanted to. I ended up leaving most of my plate untouched.
I truly believe the restaurant has potential — the service, prices, and atmosphere are definitely on point — but I hope the kitchen can work on consistency with the food preparation. I’d love to come back in the future and have a better experience, because the place itself is very promising.

I absolutely loved the food truck but It hasn't been around in a while. My all time favorite food was the Bayou Fries. I'm not so hyped about the restaurant bc was told they no longer serve them.

A Freaking Mazing!!! 1st time eating here. A spontaneous moment and decision... We were met with kindness and acceptance. Ordered it to-go. Were able to assist 3 women in need of help with their car & in doing so I met a young lady that made a huge impression on me. What I'm trying to say is the food is over the top delicious 😋 and the atmosphere welcoming, the other patrons were just cool, kind, calm & collect. I felt safe in a not so safe city. Thanks for the experience! Sorry, no photo's.

Finally got the chance to eat here! Food was great, definitely get the queso. 5 stars because my son who NEVER eats squash/ zucchini absolutely devoured the teriyaki mixed vegetables 😁

This is a black owned business with very good food..The seating area is very tight and overcrowded which makes it uncomfortable and people smoking hookah shouldn't be acceptable because others may have allergies to it..If you want to sit for 50 minutes to and hour and wait on your food, then this is definitely the place to go..I couldn't enjoy my fish, shrimp, mac,or okra because I waited so long for it..By the time it reached my table,I had gotten full off the smells from other food.So the too go box it was..I don't think I will go back until the service is a bit better.
