Simone's never disappoints!!! The food is some of the best soul food in town. Nice variety on the menu. You will come back again and again!
Honest review:
We arrived and were seated immediately. The total time we were there was close to 2 hrs from the time we were seated to the time we walked out the door. Food took a while to arrive once we ordered, this could be because of the crowd that was there. We started with the egg rolls.
I was not impressed with the salad. Felt like the salad had been sitting out and pre-made.
They were good, would like more sauce on them but overall 8/10. The catfish was cooked perfectly, hot and fresh, nice crust on it overall 10/10. The mac n cheese, I was not happy with it, it lacked flavor and looked good but lacked taste over 6/10. The mini crab cakes were good, they are mini overall 7/10. The shrimp was seasoned well but overcooked overall 7/10
Overall, I give Simone's Kitchen a 8/10

Lamb chops meal cooked to perfection!
It was pretty good. The only thing was I had oxtails, but there was no rice attached to the oxtails, even though they stated that there would be oxtails and rice.
