Best brunch I’ve had in years (& I brunch often). The restaurant is in a cool area, had a great atmosphere with a fun attentive staff, and most importantly delicious food. We had the bottomless tapas brunch with complementary mimosas. We enjoyed the variety of tapas options and nothing disappointed. My delightfully full stomach forced me to stop, but some standouts were the Lox, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steak & Gouda Biscuits, French Toast, Jalapeño Bacon, and exquisite Beignets. It’s a modest sized place, so make a reservation and thank me later!

Their brunch was amazing! We were a group of nine and I think we tried everything. It's a must if you're in the area.

Ok so my husband and I came here for brunch and without reservations. The amazing host let us know that we can sit at the bar and WOW. What’s going on?! Just the 2 most amazing bartenders Jacey and Devon with awesome service. Our drinks stayed full with the help of Rodger. And Aris the manager was so awesome. The menu is RAD and the portions are big. Definitely will be back.

Came with SO for their Bottomless Tapas Brunch. It's $48 a person (plus tax and tips, of course) for unlimited mimosas with bottomless brunch and $35 for just Bottomless Brunch. What's kind of amusing to me is they put big bold "complimentary mimosas" on the menu even though it really isn't technically, not without a bunch of strings, as obvious in the pricing. Somebody needs to explain to them what "complimentary" means, ha.

They do take reservations and I would recommend making one if you are set on eating there but don't want to wait. We didnt have a reservation but got lucky and was able to sit down right away. This was a bit past 10:30am on a Sundsy morning and the place was over 90% full. Staff there are super nice and efficient, definitely 5 stars there.

This being my first time there, I tried as many dishes as I could. A huge fan of the fried green tomato, steak biscuit, and beignets. Got multiple of these and would definitely recommend.

Thought the bacon and sausage balls, shrimp and grits, and the fish were terrible. Bacon is floppy and I am a crispy girl, so that's definitely a personal preference thing and you may love it. The girt cake in the shrimp and grits were cold and hard, a definite no. The fish was over fried. Another thing of note is that at not even 11am (and their brunch runs from 10am to 2:30am), they were already out of the quail and almost out of the parfait and the oysters. So if you come at noon, you are already down three things you probably wanted to at least try! That's definitely a problem IMO. These factors caused me to feel like 4-stars is the best I can do, especially considering the cost.

However, if you have never been, I would definitely recommend you to give them a try! Thr stuff that's good are really good and you could just fill up on those haha.

Victoria provided the best service and attention to our family. She was very kind and nice, and also very efficient in bringing our orders to the table. We recommend this restaurant ,and that you ask for Victoria when you visit.

My first dining experience at SoHo Standard -- but definitely not my last! Everything (food, drinks, service) was top notch. Olivia took great care of us, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Looking forward to returning soon!

THE perfect brunch experience for those looking for great vibes, amazing staff, and unbeatable food and drinks. We brought some friends from out of town to give them the best of Birmingham Brunch and it did not disappoint. The mimosas: overflowing, the tapas: bottomless, our servers: unmatched. Carson and Winston effortlessly took care of us and Aris was our (self-proclaimed) mimosa fairy through and through. The steak and biscuit, the avocado toast with crab, the bacon!!!! We still have dreams about it! Everyone at this restaurant deserves a raise; if you’re in the area and need a brunch spot - this is the place to be!!!!!!!

Vegetarian options: “Vegetarian” may be a stretch but options were pescatarian friendly and it was easy to remove the fish/meat to make a dish vegetarian.

Dietary restrictions: We had dietary restrictions against dairy and nuts, the dishes were pretty easy to accommodate to remove any gravy/cheese/dairy. The biscuits are baked in with Gouda and the complimentary beignets are brioche, but offer bagels and other options.

Awesome service, the food is unbelievable - we did the brunch tappas with bottomless mimosas, not irritatingly crowded. Almost didn’t want to leave a review to blow up my new spot.
