My experience here had good, attentive service that wasn't over the top. The food was served quickly, but wasn't good (not particularly bad, per se, just mediocre).
The ambiance was cheap and cold. Nothing here to make a person want to settle in or spend any time here.

I come here often bringing different friends with me to specifically get the tabitas and street corn! We always sit at the bar and the cute bartender with the mustache always takes care of us, he is very polite and attentive. He made us espresso martinis even though they were not part of the menu! Excellent food, great staff, amazing cocktails and cheap happy hour. Perfect for a casual outing - 10/10 recommend!

Service great! Music 10000/10! Queso 0/10 - reminds me of slop from big brother felt like store bought canned queso so thick. Chicken was very dry not that much flavor. The chips and salsa are great! My husband got the Al pastor torta and that was actually pretty good, but pretty disappointed in the food overall.

I rarely leave low ratings, but I want to be honest about my experience. The food was decent not great but the prices were fair. We visited on a Saturday during brunch with a group of six adults, three preteens, and two small children. The weather was nice, so we chose to sit outside.
Our first server accidentally dropped an entire tray of waters, and some splashed on one of our guests. Accidents happen, but no manager came out to check on us or apologize, which was disappointing. We were then assigned a new server. My Tablitas were burnt on the first try but replaced with a much better plate.
Unfortunately, a bug fell into my mimosa. When I showed the server, Jackson, and asked for a replacement, he said I’d have to pay for another even though the drink was only $4 and I had half left. I wasn’t asking for a full new drink, just for what was lost. He never returned to check on refills after that.
With automatic gratuity included, the level of service felt indifferent. The $47 tip was generous, but honestly not deserved. I wouldn’t sit in his section again and I’m on the fence about returning at all.

The staff is absolutely incredible. While out with my sister, my car was struck by a Walmart delivery driver in the parking lot behind the City Hall building. A server from this restaurant, Sadie, witnessed the whole thing, got a perfect photo of the incident, called the Homewood Police, STAYED TO MAKE A STATEMENT after the Walmart driver ran from the incident, and got her fellow staff members to find me and tell me. The manager, cooks, other waitstaff were incredibly empathetic throughout our stay after the incident and went above and beyond to make a bad situation better.
Sadie is an amazing person, who went so far beyond the norm for me without even knowing who I was, and without her stepping up and taking charge of a situation that didn't actually affect her, simply out of empathy for another person, should be celebrated and appreciated to the highest degree. All of the staff on Saturday, October 4th, deserve the world and were absolutely wonderful.
Thank you, Sadie. You are incredible and have helped me out so much yesterday. I am eternally grateful and will absolutely be back.

We had an event from work and we had tacos and they were very good. The protein was chicken and meat. The sides were cilantro rice which was delicious, beans, Pico de gallo, cilantro and onions, etc... loved the dessert which was caramel ice cream and churro (yummy). Recommend this place, it had a great atmosphere.

Friend and I went here last Saturday and were sat on the patio. We waited 15-20min with no one coming to greet us or say we’ll be over soon. We watched as other tables around us were greeted, ordered, and received their food and drinks. I went inside to ask if we could order anything and the host looked flustered and said of course sure someone will be over soon. A server came by and apologized saying they would comp our drinks only though we had seen them 20 feet away greeting other tables in the same section. Service is lacking and we only ordered guac which we still paid for. Would not recommend and will not be back.
