This place is off the chart good rule of thumb if the place is packed every time you go usually that's a good place to eat at and to add to it their Street for Fries will make your tongue slap your brains

Gabe gave amazing service and made fantastic drinks! He made me a specialty cucumber mojito since I’m so picky and it was the best cocktail I’ve had!

I went for a drink during happy hour, and the frospresso was really good. I liked the chips and salsa a lot, too. The mojito was solid.

We came on Saturday afternoon. Coy was our server - Coy is one of the best servers we have encountered in Birmingham. Love the patio. I love that you can get mix and match tacos. Cool vibe inside. Friendly and helpful team members.

NEW FAVORITE PLACE AND SERVER!! Food was amazing. Best queso and quesadilla in Birmingham. Jake's service was truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he exuded professionalism and warmth. He demonstrated an extensive knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly suited our preferences. Throughout the meal, Jake was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and checking in at the right moments. His friendly demeanor, combined with his impeccable service, made our experience memorable. We left the restaurant with a deep appreciation for his dedication and exceptional hospitality. We will be back!!!

If you’re black I don’t recommend going here because clearly they are racist. I was there with a party of 6 that included 2 toddlers. Our table was approached by a man and he stated our kids were too loud and we need to quiet them down then he walked away. They were by our table playing with each other not bothering anybody. I walked and found him and asked who he was since he so rudely approached us without announcing who he was. He stated his name was Carlos and he’s the manager. I said oh it would have been nice if you told us who you were because I thought you were a customer. I then asked if anyone was complaining and he stated no. I said oh you’re the one with the problem got it. Then I gave him advice on management and I’m a manager myself and walked away and grabbed my family and left. He waited until our food was paid for and asked us to basically leave. Poor management skills, poor service and I will never come back. The Soho is apparently racist in general.

We were there on Taco Tuesday and as soon as we sat down Maddie Our server brought chips and salsa and took our drink orders. When she brought the drinks we ordered guacamole and green chile queso for appetisers and they were both large and delicious. Our dinners were a taco trio of Daves Favorite (pastor with guac, salsa verde, and pickled onions), Asada taco (delicious steak withthe above and chimi butter) and a Shrimp taco that was terrific. Four our sides we got casa salad. When we got there the crowd was sparse but it filled up rather quickly to where tables were getting scarce. Maddie adjusted well as the crowd developed and you would hve thought we were her only table. Every restaurant in town needs waitstaff like her. She was not only efficient and friendly but also was very helpful making suggestions to the newbies.

I attempted to contact the owners and manager of Soho Social through various networks in an effort to address this situation before posting a review, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. I came from Texas based on a friend's recommendation and had a party of 6, including 2 toddlers. Everything was going well until after I swiped my card to pay; Carlos approached without introduction and asked us to make our toddlers be quiet or leave. I was shocked and unsure why he said this. He walked away without any explanation. When we arrived, kids of the opposite race were running around and disturbing guests, but nothing was said to them. My toddlers were quietly standing against a wall, holding hands and talking to each other, not loud or bothering anyone. We even received compliments on how well behaved they were for 2 and 3-year-olds. We decided to leave, and as I walked out, I asked if he addressed the other children or just mine and why ours were addressed in the first place. I asked if guests were complaining, and he responded with, 'No, I just think they’re too loud.' I hate to think this was race-driven; however, we were the only guests of color in the establishment and the only guests who were told they were disturbing his guests. I’d NEVER return here, and I advise everyone to steer clear of this area. It’s super unfortunate; however, clearly, no coloreds are allowed.

I made the mistake of coming here for lunch. After I finally found a parking spot, the food was bland and the staff was rude.
