I work for UAB. We had a graduation on June 13. I came onboard with UAB after the graduation arrangements and catering reservations were already made. Mary Jones with Happy Catering was sure to inform me of all the reservation details from the menu, to the arrival time, to checking to ensure her staff had phone numbers in case the delivery location posed a problem for them at arrival. Mary contacted us a week in advance and she was SO VERY polite, caring and reassuring, as this was my first time hosting an even of this caliper. She let me know that her staff would be there to ensure that I didn't have any problem being in a relaxed state during the graduation ceremony and dinner. Well she was right! The food arrangement and cutlery rollups were classy and stylish. The ambience in the room gave classy and upscale.
Last but definitely not least, the food was AMAZING!!! I had a couple of favorite items, but all in all, the entire spread was delicious. I'm not really a dessert person, so I didn't eat any of the desserts, but the guests seemed to enjoy them.

Holly made everything so seamless and her communication was on point!!! Every dish on the menu was excellent!! I never would have guessed we could have gotten such high end food and zero stress for such a reasonable price. There is a reason they have been in this industry for decades, they know exactly what they are doing!!! Thanks again for playing such an important role in our daughter’s special day.

Sadly, I was forced to use Happy Catering by my wedding venue. They put on a good show about the quality of their food and kept insisting there would be plenty of food the day of the event. What we ended up with was a complete joke. We paid ~$7k for bottom of the barrel service. I was supposed to have a carving station with an attendant, but instead, it was just sliced meat and there was no attendant. The food at the wedding was not the same quality of the food at our tasting. Worst part? We ran out of food COMPLETELY before I quit taking pictures. My wedding party didn't even get to have dinner.
