We had some appetizers here and found Tostados to be good but not great. We sat at the bar and while bar service was fairly good and drinks were a good pour the food was just ok. The facility was not as clean as I prefer and the bar was a little "sticky" but concrete bars are often like that. I'll definitely go back and give them another chance.Urban Cowgill

Not surprised it's closing. Terrible food. Probably some of the worst food I've had. Everytime I've gone there it's been empty but service is still terrible. They say they are moving to a new location but they should close down all together.

Again I say, where have I been? Anywho, I decided to expand my "happy hour" hangout spot and headed to downtown Homewood area. I went to Tostadas Homewood. It was a pretty laid back relaxing spot. I ordered the mango frozen margarita and it was really good. ? I had the chips and salas which was ok. I also ordered the queso dip, but sad to say, it was pretty thick and Luke warm?. They brought me a second round of it and it was lack luster.? I decided not to order anything else. ? After I finished my chips and drink, I played several rounds of pacman! ? I will be going back to get a different favor of margarita ? and hang out on the outdoor patio! ?

It was a Tuesday and I wanted a taco. Tostadas ended up being a good choice. The server was friendly and helpful. The food was good and well-cooked. I especially enjoyed the jalapeno honey chicken taco. Great flavor! I'll be returning soon to try some of their other offerings.

Okay wow! This is gonna be one of my regular spots now. I had a blueberry margarita that was only $3 on Mondays and it was so delicious!! Perfect amount of tequila. Sometimes mixed drinks at restaurants are such a horrible deal, but not here! The queso dip sampler was amazing, their salsa is some of the best I've had and their refried beans were so flavorful! I got the plain jane tostada and it did not disappoint! The shell was super crispy! My fiance got a shrimp taco and a catfish taco and he loved both; he couldn't stop raving about how good the tortilla was and the sauces. Portions were so big! Location is great, ambience is so cute! Service was great! I was a little nervous trying this place because other reviews said the food was bland or the service was terrible. I just did not have that experience at all. I know a lot of people are short staffed right now, or maybe they got new staff but I had a great time. Will be back for sure!

In this day and age, modern businesses in this country need to be handicapped accessible in order to meet current standards.

EGGOS! The brunch waffles are literally $12 stale Eggos! Thank god the chicken fingers are tasty. Unfortunately, like many restaurants right now, they are incredibly short staffed. Very friendly, and apologetic, but still a problem. Chips and salsa and drinks are pretty good, but skip the overpriced meh entrees.

Our go-to spot in SoHo! Their Mexican Pizza is THE BEST! My husband usually gets the Southern Stack and it's always great. Tostadas is consistent on quality and service. We rarely have a wait time, which is hard to come by in the area. Awesome drinks at a fair price!

Impromptu date night led us to tostadas because we hadn't been in a while. We went at about 7pm, and it was still warm enough to sit outside; which we prefer. The salsa is one of the best I've had! We started with drinks. I had the peach margarita Bellini and he had the punch. Both really tasty. To eat I had the Mexican pizza plate with shrimp and he had the honey jalapeño flat taco. I would recommend the Mexican pizza how it is on the menu vs changing the meat like I did. I gave Taco Bell Mexican pizza vibes but the shrimp I order threw me off a bit. Overall good meal and good service. We will continue to keep Tostadas on our date night list.

The food was just ok at best. It wasn't hot, so that could have had something to do with it. The rice and beans tasted strange. Like they added a weird spice. The flat taco was good. Service was lacking, but we are giving businesses grace because of the times we are in.

Greatest event space ever! My sorority has consistently held date parties here for the past 2 years and they are always amazing. The service and food are unbeatable!

Understaffed when we went. Same as a lot of places these days. So it took a while to get food. Once e got the food it was worth the wait.

After hearing much about this place on local radio my wife and I decided to stop in for a late lunch here and man did it live up to the hype!1.)The Duck Quesadillas appetizer was a very unique but very delicious and well thought out.2.)The Burrito Changa style was big enough for 2 meals and was everything you expect from a fried burrito covered in queso, amazing!3.)My wife had the Big Gulf plate and was very happy with her choice, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and paired well with the guacamole and crispy tostada under neath.4.) Wait staff was very polite and on top of things. The owner came out and chatted with customers. We can't wait to go back!

The chips were stale, the Tostada Bowl was terrible, and the burrito was just okay. We visited here on Thursday night at about 7:45. The place was nearly empty. And it's not hard to see why with the quality of the food. In particular, the Tostada Bowl was inedible. It was like something you'd have made in the microwave of your college dorm room -- a viscous bowl of unappetizing slop. The only reason I give it two stars instead of one is the service. We had a very friendly and attentive server.

The restaurant experience was just ok. The pomegranate guacamole was flat and the avocados were not ripe. Disappointingly so especially since I love avocados. The street corn queso was running and unflavorable. The tacos weren’t half bad and good size. The drink was good although.
