I came to this location on 2/24/24 I walked in they said hi welcome to TSC. Then I stood there for at 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me.Then the employee was making smoothie with no gloves and touching the bananas.

First time at this location specifically. My original locationI usually go to is in Trussville.But let me say this, I always get the peanut butter cup without bananas and the Trussville location fails to make it without banana every single time. Therefore I am having to turn back around and take it back lol. First time at this location and they get it right, tastes very good. Andre hooked me up.

I ordered the veggie humus wrap with pesto and a banana for the side. The wrap was dripping in pesto and incredibly oily. The banana was old and rotten. I couldn't eat either. The smoothie was

I found out there were many lettuce aphid and fruit flies in the salad I ordered. Absolutely disgusted especially when u finished half bowl of the salad already and then saw few bugs inside ur salad staring straight into ur souls. ????? I called them and they hanged up, btw lettuce wasn’t fresh, saw so many red dots on the salad and thought was some kind of secrecy recipe salad dressing, turned out all the red dots are bugs dead body. I’m calling health department ughhh

This is my usual smoothie place and the smoothies are delicious. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I had been putting up with the dull attitudes and super slow service because the smoothies were so delicious. But after today, I was treated rudely and unprofessional at the drive thru speaker by one of the employees. First I could barely hear them and I spoke up clearly so that I could be heard. I was rudely asked why I was yelling in their ear. I explained that I did not mean to yell I was just making sure they could hear me. I heard the employee laughing as they continued to make a big deal out of the tone of my voice with other employees. I drove off. I will not be visiting this location again. I will no longer ignore the poor customer service and super slow service.

This location prioritizes drive thru orders over mobile pickup orders, so I waited 20 minutes past pickup time for 2ppl worth of food. The food was terrible. Don’t go to this location.

I went to this location on my lunch break, I arrived at 12:10 and sat there waiting until 12:36. I watched every single person get there order before me and was completely disregarded when I asked how long the wait would be. I understand things gets busy and it’s overwhelming but I feel completely disrespected and like I was not made a priority as a paying customer should be.I will admit one lady came behind the lady who blew me off and tried to correct the situation, I wish I had gotten her name! Thank you very much to you, she is the ONLY reason I will bring my business back to this location.

Arrived at this Homewood location last night at 8:21 pm. When I went inside to order a 3 cheese chicken quesadilla and two smoothies. I was told that they stop serving "FOOD ITEMS" at 8:00 even though they close at 9:00. Never heard this or experienced this at any other Tropical locations. Also once I got my two smoothies and exited the store at 8:35 I was followed to the door by an employee who promptly LOCKED THE DOOR and TURNED OFF THE LOBBY LIGHTS. WOW no food items when we feel like it and we will CLOSE when we feel like it forget the ACTUAL RULES, or the PAYING CUSTOMERS needs.
This Island punch is addictive. I be wanting it everyday multiple times a day

Never coming back to this location. I ordered a flatbread and it shouldn’t have take. 30 mins!!!! Took close to my entire lunch break. For a flatbread and a bag of chips. Black dude with glasses was very unbothered and rude AF never apologized for my wait. This is ridiculous

What an absolute dumpster-fire of an establishment. I would go more into depth and write a full, detailed review, but I really do not even want to think about this place. Yes, it is run that poorly. The smoothies are bad and trust me - the food is worse. You can do better with your money than throw it in this landfill.

This place is great! I love smoothies. This place had a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the Strawberry Margarita smoothie. It was delicious! Not too sweet, and not too tart. Service was great! They were really quick with my order. This seems like a great place if you want to hang out with friends in the cute whimsical seating area or if you just want to go through the drive thru. I highly recommend this Tropical Smoothie Cafe!
