Did not like the pizza. Like I’m so disappointed the one in NC is nothing like this. I would have been better just ordering dominoes or pizza hun.
We were visiting area and this place looked promising.Ordered pepperoni pizza and waitress started pizza was only 11” so we may want to order 2 if we were pretty hungry. So we said okay.Turns out it was a good idea.Pizza is thin, but very delicious. This is the closest to pizza in Italy we have ever had in the United States. Crust is thin and crispy and not filling. Cheese, sauce and pepperoni were very flavorful and generous.Waitress was very friendly helpful. So glad we stopped.
We have been here three times and each time it was excellent. They used to have bruschetta as an appetizer but it has been removed from the menu. A pity as it was really good but maybe they will bring it back. A good draft beer selection and a happy hour. The soft drinks are Coke products. We ordered the cheese sticks and this appetizer could have easily fed three people. Our entrees were the Margherita and Bronx Bomber pizza's. After the cheese sticks we could barely finish half our pizza's but leftovers were good the next day. We have had the Smores dessert in the past but there was no room for it this time. A great place for date night and there is seating outside if you prefer. Dog's are welcome provided they have a leash. We will definitely be back as this place has become one of our favorite Hoover restaurants.
BEST pizza I've had in a LONG time! I thoroughly enjoyed the Sausage & Spicy Honey Pizza (that's one pizza, not two separate pizzas). They even allow you go split the pizza half-and-half WITH specialty pizzas! But the WINGSSSSSS - AMAZING. They cooked them in the wood fire and they were so good, even without sauce. I would go again, and again, and again!
James was SPECTACULAR! He was so attentive and charismatic with our whole table. It has been so long since we received such great service. Food was hot and delicious. The whole staff helped each other. Nice to see! Definitely will be back!
My experience is always good. I only order a half pizza and salad, which is not an option that can be found on the menu. I do suggest requesting more sauce for the pizza, and tomatoes for the salad.
Me and my boyfriend went there tonight. The service was great. The staff is very kind. We accidentally entered through the back patio and a server helped us right away after explaining it was our first time there. Our server was extremely kind and the food was very good for the price! We will be coming back 100%. Thanks again! ?
The restaurant is a little small and the service was a little slow but that is mostly understandable because it was so busy. And it has a right to be! It's atmosphere is comfortable and the food was AMAZING. We got the pasta which was absolutely phenomenal, we're planning on going back soon just to try the pizza!
Pizza is excellent. My favorite is the Hawaiian. Lunch pricing is unbeatable. Service is good even when they're busy. I come here pretty regularly. Staff seemed to get along well together. Everyone was smiling while they interacted with each other and customers. That was probably the nicest part of our latest experience here.
A website blog gave this place a high reviews of being family friendly, so after a three hour drive we stopped. Smelled amazing, wasn’t packed, the hostess (very friendly) brought us to a table immediately where we sat for over 10 minutes without anyone addressing us. Three more tables were sat, drinks were ordered and delivered and orders were even being taken and still, we were never greeted by a waiter/waitress.As we began to leave, I noticed a few of the workers talk about (what I assume was) whether or not someone came to take our order. Made eye contact with three of them and still, nobody came to talk with us.

Food is good. Only have had one bad burnt pizza but was compensated for it
We were in town for the Indycar race and was looking for a quick dinner. I got the Rustica which comes with prosciutto, mozzarella, artichokes, kalamata olives, roasted garlic on an olive oil base. The crust was a little charred but not burned and chewy without being tough. My wife got a gluten free califlower crust that was a little smaller with an upcharge. Hers was the Chicken Florentine. It had wood roasted chicken, crumbled bacon, roma tomatoes, spinach, feta & mozzarella on an olive oil base. She said it was one of the best gluten free pizzas she has had so far. We would go back if in the area.
Not sure where the pizza went wrong but I won't ever come here again. Gluten free crust was mushy. Sparce toppings/more sauce than anything else. Jalapeño tasted like bell pepper. For the price I could have gone to fast food pizza place and gotten far better! Would not recommend if you are gluten sensitive. Don't waste your time.Gave two stars because the staff was nice.
I got the Hawaiian pizza as takeout. Flavor and toppings were pretty solid, but it was undercooked and dry. Needs more sauce and crispness, like you’d expect with a brick oven/wood fired pizza place. I’d be willing to give it another shot though, maybe it was just an off night.
Absolutely delicious. The pizza isnt overlly complicated or rushed. The different pizza options they have are all good and provide different tastes for each. The menu is the perfect size and the building is very clean, comfortable, and spacious.
