Very rude and does not listen to customers,I like trussville location better because of the customer service and they actually listen turn the music down a little then you will be able to hear customized orders.I only came here because this is the only location that gives me coupons but it wasn't worth it in the end.

I really like City Bowls. The only reason I had to give them three stars is because recently, my youngest son found a piece of paper in his bowl. I believe it's paper from where the fruit is wrapped up before it's unwrapped and put into the bowls. They've got to be more careful. I will say that's the only issue I've had at this location. Generally, the food and service are good. I finally was able to try The Grinch Bowl and it was delicious! I'd eat it again! Overall, I like this place. They just have to be more diligent with unwrapping the fruit to make sure paper doesn't end up in a customer's bowl.

So basically if you're looking for a healthy protein based meal, look no further then City Bowls. It's basically like a fitness routine but for food instead. You can get a mix of fruits in a bowl of your choosing, most people get the Powerhouse bowl. Inside is premium as well as select seating depending on how many people you bring.

I've wanted to try a bowl since my son enjoyed a large bowl dripped in a hazelnut sauce in a waiting room as we waited for me to have a medical procedure. It's cruel and unusual procedure to devour fresh fruit, a gelato like base with coconut shavings, granola and chia seeds toppings in front of patients fasting since midnight! He was unfazed as he got ugly looks while he scraped every last drop from the container.I now understand why he has a daily bowl for breakfast! I ordered a small bowl since healthy food isn't my forte. But it doesn't taste like a "Healthy" meal. The fruit was ripe, sweet and diced into spoon sized treats. The facility is clean, bright with pleasant background music. The staff was helpful. I wish there was a unit closer to me. I have no complaints other than the long drive from my home. I will enjoy a bowl every opportunity I have.

Love the bowls but very disappointed with their communication. I specifically waited for 10 minutes outside on a Sunday for them to open at 10am, the posted opening time. After someone finally saw me and came to the door, she notified me that they now open at 11 on Sundays. She said they had been "trying to get the time changed". It's literally written in marker and all it would take is to post a sign.
City Bowls has the best protein/fruit bowls I have had in this area! My husband and I had the Powerhouse Bowl today, and that is typically what we order, but I've also had the Birmingham Bowl and it is great too! I want to try one of their seasonal specialties (like on the signboard in the picture) soon! The freshness of the fruit, coolness of the frozen portion, the crunch of granola and the creamy Nutella and peanut butter make it the perfect treat or meal. Today, it was our lunch, so we got the largest size! I thought our bowls today were the best I've ever had (kudos to today's employees)!Vegetarian options: Most (or maybe all) options are gluten free and dairy free!Kid-friendliness: Smallest size is great for kids!

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO enjoyed my Acai Berry Bowl! I don't live in Alabama anymore so I haven't eaten at City Bowls since April 2019. It was just as AMAZING as it was the last time I had it. Thank you for being consistent and having gluten/soy-free granola?.

I come here from time to time for a healthy snack. My family and I like that it is very tasty and a good price for acai bowls. I usually keep it pretty basic with the iron bowl. This is a solid place that I keep coming back to regularly. The atmosphere is nice and casual. The only complaint is that sometimes it can take a little while to get your order ... other than that... and if you are not in a hurry.. I would definitely recommend
