“Food was good.. don't get the high energy dance music while I'm trying to eat.. Unless you are trying to turn tables over :(“

“Waitress was very friendly. We ordered the calamari to start - tasted yummy. The bread was fresh out of the oven and scrumptious. Several of us ordered the mousakka and it was wonderful. Husband had chicken parmigiana and loved his. Son had gyro plate and devoured his. Entire meal was totally awesome. We have been going for years and never a bad meal.“

“Great menu of food items, incuding a breakfast menu, lunch specials, and dinner. Menu includes potatoes, salads, gyros, burgers, pitas, subs, chicken fingers/wings and many Mediterrean specialties. Good desserts.

“Today, after I ordered, we were told there were no more sweet potatoes. I was disappointed; then, someone (perhaps, he was one of the owners) gave me, I guess, a partial serving ( I think it was what was left) of the sweet potatoes. In my opinion, that was very nice; then, he said that I could still order another item from the vegetable list.“

“We're not huge fans of Greek food, but we tried Tasty Town, mainly for convenience. We had planned a very packed day of sight-seeing in Birmingham on a Saturday. It seemed that hardly any eatery would be open and there wasn't time allowance to drive out of the downtown area, without being late for the next activity. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town! Thanks for being there, and thanks for being so good.“

“Lunch was so yummy! I had the rice bowl with gyro meat and everything was fresh and the flavors were on point. Sometimes gyro meat can be dry, but not at this place. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. The service was also really good, as well. I recommend checking them out.“

“Everything is great here. I had the prime rib. My parents had the moussaka and the Greek snapper. Everything was perfect. The vegetables out of this world. This guy really knows how to season things. Everything was bright and absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend high enough. Great value, people and all in all wonderful experience. I will be eating here lots more times.“

“UAB location is awesome. I have visited this located several times and always clean, friendly, and food always good. I normally do online order and my order always ready when I arrive. I ate there with my mother once and it was nice and pleasant. We sat outside on the patio.“
