Sooo disappointed as we eat at various Mr Chens around Birmingham. Ordered an item I usually order at Mr Chens Hoover and was brought a different dish. Of course I wasn’t happy! $19.99 was outrageous for the similar but wrong dish (no the stand alone dish cost me $20!!!). So I’m told sorry, Mr Chen menu isn’t same at different locations??? So why are they all called Mr Chens? I guess we’re pursuing a next Asian restaurant to get our food from since the Chens have...

We love the food here. It’s more authentic and significantly lower on the breading and sugar. You can have a really lovely, healthy meal out. The staff is attentive and kind, and always up for a recommendation for something new to try. They haven’t steered us wrong yet, and we eat there about every other week.

I like Mr Chen's Authentic Chinese Cuisine. Unfortunately I have to give them a rating that is just slightly above average. The food is good, just okay. It's a good place to grab a quick lunch but it's not upscale dining. The room is clean but could really use some sprucing up. One thing I just can't stand, and this happens in some other restaurants, someone will wipe down a table just before you sit down and just leave it wet. Please don't do that! Anyway,...
