Food was great! The place was clean and orderly. Everything was clearly priced and there were numerous good deals running. Our server, Shay, was absolutely incredible and so kind. She was running the place like an absolute boss!

The service was top notch, 2 of the 5 meals ordered were wrong, quick to fix but definitely makes it awkward when 2 people have food and 2 have to wait for replacement. The air conditioning was out so it made for a hot long (3hr) meal. The manager and wait staff were perfect.

I went in for a birthday dinner with a group of 11 people. We were originally told that reservations were not allowed, which was fine, but the day before I was told I could call ahead instead. When we arrived the day of, they told us we could not do that and acted irritated that we had come in with a large group. Ive worked in the food industry myself, and if you dislike your job or don’t enjoy serving people who are celebrating special occasions with their families, then maybe customer service isn’t the right field. We also waited almost two hours for our food. When it finally arrived, one of the pasta dishes had a bug in it. When we asked for it to be sent back, the host and the manager laughed, which was extremely unprofessional. If that had been your food, would you really be laughing? On top of that, the steaks were not cooked as requested and several came out different from what was ordered, and the mac and cheese was cold and dry. Overall, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve had.
I ordered the baked potato soup. I asked her to heat it up more, but when she brought it back out it was the same temperature. I ate it anyway. It isn't as good as Panera Bread. The soup was okay. Also, why must the music be blaring and a TV on every wall? This wouldn't be a relaxing place to dine. I won't be back anytime soon.

We visited Outback Hoover Saturday the 28th and it was not the best experience. Food was not cooked properly nothing came out correct not even the ticket. Taylor our waitress was very nice and overwhelmed. Group of 7 and it took us 2.5 hours to get our food. Lots of people walking out. We made sure to tip our waitress because she was polite and handling all the upset customers for the manager that we never seen.

I think Outback has changed their grade of steaks. Everyone's food was extremely tough.
The Bloomin Onion was cooked in old grease. And even though we ordered it long before our meal order it came out at the same time, almost room temperature.
This was a poor choice for a birthday. And we were there around 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

My husband and I like to come to Outback when they have the limited times drinks so last night we went out for the croctail to bring the crocodile home with us. Upon arriving, the host took a long time to get us checked in and we told her we specifically needed a booth. About 20 minutes later, we got a text that the table was ready so we went to the host stand where she took another 10 minutes to get us seated. She put us at a table with chairs in the most high traffic spot in the restaurant. My husband and I almost left at this point (we should’ve) but tried to stick it out. I got my croctail and a bloomin onion, but decided to get a take home meal because I was so uncomfortable at this table and wanted to leave. My husband ordered his meal and couldn’t finish it so the host walked by and asked if we needed boxes. I said yes two. She then disappeared to the bathroom and our waiter decided to bring us boxes and by the time she arrived with the boxes, all the food was already packed up and she seemed offended we already got them. We waited a very long time to get the take home meal to the point that I decided to go outside because I could not sit at this uncomfortable table anymore (I had a procedure done earlier in the day). My husband came out 20-30 minutes later saying they gave us shrimp (I’m allergic to shellfish) when I had ordered the Alice Spring’s chicken. He told them I had to have the chicken because of my allergy so that was the huge hold up there. The point of my review is to say don’t have people come out to your restaurant spending $80 plus if you can’t accommodate their comfort and needs. Also, the host is the first impression of a restaurant and she definitely left a bad one on us. To those reading this, drive to the Fultondale location for better service and treatment! They are the best up there.

The food was cold when we got it for several members in my party of 8. The service was okay. Our waiter seemed to not want to be at work and kept forgetting to bring things we had asked for and brought several people the wrong thing as well.
