“Got two apps and a chicken pad Thai Togo toward the end of their dinner rush and they were incredibly friendly! They gave me a Thai tea while I waited. Truly fantastic service and the spicy corn and Thai wings were absolutely fantastic. The pad Thai is hands down one of the best in the city and I plan to be back several times over the next few weeks to explore more of the menu. If you dine-in the restaurant and sleek and intimate; would be perfect for a date night.“

“For a mall food court I was very pleased with my dinner. Large portions and they let me sample each entree before choosing. I ordered a two meat two sides plate with rice and lo mein along with pineapple chicken and another I can't recall.“

The wait time for to gos for me has been 45 mins to an hour each time, but that’s fine I planned for it. To me that just says they are very busy, which is a great thing! “I had not had Surin in a few months and decided to get takeout. I ordered online, arrived a little early, checked in, and barely sat down before it was ready. The owner apologized that I had to wait! I mean, talk about service. When I got home, the food was so fresh and delicious. Surin West is such a gem! Five Stars‼️“

“Had to share what an outstanding experience I had here! The chicken pad Thai was out of this world! Reasonably priced and exceptionally good. The chicken was tender and the sauce was flavorful. Perfectly cooked noodles and I really loved this dish. I can’t wait to try others. I do think the fresh spring roll was a bit off a miss, but that’s ok with me. I was really here for the pad Thai.

These other reviews had me a bit worried, but I’m so glad I tried it anyway. Truly don’t know if they’ve made some great improvements or if those people just didn’t know what they were talking about!

“Fantastic food! I had the basil pork and it was wonderful. The old fashioned with the smoked orange was also the bomb. The owner ( I think it was the owner--it was very loud and I couldn't hear him, but he appeared at our table of six at least twice) was super attentive and has a kind demeanor. I will be back.“

“Tao Asian in Pelham might look quiet when you first walk in, but don’t let that fool you—the food speaks loud! The egg drop soup was hot and comforting, the egg rolls and crab rangoon were fresh and delicious, and the portions were more than generous. They even loaded me up with rice and a Go Box that had me tapping out. Service was quick, food came out within minutes, and everything tasted better than expected. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out. Skraitup!“
