Had the Chicken Warm Salad tonight at dinner. The chicken was tough, as if it had been sitting under heat lamps or overcooked. I told the waiter I was disappointed in the meal (obviously, since I left most of it on the plate) and he never offered to discount or replace the meal. He seemed more interested in pushing appetizers and drinks. Won’t be back.
I am so over this "tip culture." Ordered takeout. At pick up the bartender literally just picked up a bag and handed it to me. Swipe my card in the hand held device and he held my card while I was asked to enter a tip. For what. 10 seconds of work. And he just held the device staring at me (while still not returning my card) with the expectation of a minimum 18% tip.
