Little pricey, but food was good. Large portions, tasty. We had a huge group and they did a good job of getting almost all of the food out at the same time, getting refills, etc. Only downside for our waitress is that they added gratuity, but most of us would have given her a larger tip. Good experience.

For my first trip to Birmingham, Alabama I had to try Walkons because my friend recommended it to me and I was greeted by my friendly server Greg who recommended several dishes that I will remember for a long time. That day I had a Cajun ribeye I started with their famous mozzarella locks and I had a 22 ounce Michelob ultra. I have never had a 22 ounce Michelob before my mom and I had so much good food that night we went straight home and fell asleep. It was fantastic. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good creole cuisine.

What a great place! We were greeted at the table by our server, Greg, and our night went swimmingly after that. I had the alligator bites, a premium frozen margarita and the grown-up grilled cheese and I could not have asked for more. I was so full and satisfied after that - it was very tasty. Excellent food, excellent service.

I had my first experience at Walkons and it was amazing. The food was fantastic and my server Greg took very good care of me that night. I went from feeling sad and lonely to amazing with their burger. I think it was the scholarship burger. It tastes so great and everyone there was friendly.

Greg Y was an awesome server . He made sure we had everything we needed and went alive and beyond making sure we had a great meal. We traveled a long way to visit this location. Food was great! We ordered chicken fettuccine and the grilled cheese. It came out quick and hot . Def be back here again.
