There's a hole in my heart imagining this coming winter without a cozy meal in this restaurant. I always enjoyed eating here and the staff were always super kind. Thanks for the memories! I will severely miss having an entire french press to myself for breakfast and that espresso brisket

Will miss this incredible spot…Sunday brunch was a highlight to a heavy work week with friends and the 1892 burger was the best in town! It provided the best graduation dinner to me only weeks ago I will always remember! Thank you 1892 for the best food, lemon rhubarb martinis and so many special memories

This has been my 1st choice for lunch since the day it opened. They have the best burger in the area, fresh not frozen, which is hard in most restaurants these days. Sunday brunch is outstanding. I just read they are closing after 15 years. I have enjoyed dining alone and with groups. Not sure where my go to place will be now, but I wish the well. I for one will miss this place

This restaurant was not one of our favorites in the area. With downtown being so close and other restaurants popping up, this facility will have competition. The food was better than average but not amazing. The worst part was how long it took to get our food. We arrived at 5 pm and the restaurant was a little over half full. It took about 45 minutes before our meal arrived. It just felt longer than it needed. Our waitress was very nice though.

Nice restaurant in Huntsville, AL with great food and service. Our server was Amelia which we gave her 5 stars - very attentive, great customer service. Bread (5 stars). My husband and I, for staters had soup and crispy shrimp and grits, excellent (5 stars). Main entrée, my husband had the grilled pork chops served with mashed potatoes and broccolini - the chops were cooked to perfection, they were tender, choicy and flavorful. I ordered the pan-roasted trout, pecan and bacon filling, herbed potatoes, broccolini, hot honey sauce which was deliciously prepared (both dishes 5 stars). For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée, which it was a dense custard, probably over baked. Crème brûlée is supposed to be a silky smooth, custard-like texture with a delicate jiggle in the center when baked perfectly (3.5 stars). Perhaps the day you visit and ordered this dessert you will experience the velvety texture is characterized for. Definitely the chef knows what's he doing. We highly recommend!

This place has improved over the years and I've had better meals the last several times I've been. I love that they rotate the menu regularly. The cocktails are pretty delicious, and the prices are better than what you get downtown or in other areas like Providence. Keep up the great work, 1892! Also bring back those cajun/spicy Collards. Mmmmmmmm.

It is really nice no TVs so you can focus on dinner and guests

Service was slow as in waiting an hour for food and the salmon lacked almost any flavor. Nice looking restaurant, though.

Excellent brunch menu and great service. I had the panko breaded chicken breast. It was crisp and delicious. Also, they have many vegetarian options. Overall, it was a very good brunch experience.

Great food, good atmosphere and service. A little bummed they were out of chicken for dinner but otherwise it was all good.
