Agave & Rye Huntsville

There are 4 vegetarian taco options and 1 vegan taco (as of end of July 2025). There are also several vegetarian “munchies”/appetizers including chips and different dipping sauces. All vegan and vegetarian options are clearly labeled. You can get what they call flights, where you choose 3 different tacos. I got the following: “The Boss Lady,” “The Bang Bang”, and “The Easy Ranchero.” I loved these, especially the Easy Ranchero. Actually, I went to bed dreaming about tacos after eating there and woke up thinking about it. By far this is the best place I’ve eaten at in Huntsville so far (here for a few days for work). My colleague (vegan) got the “Vegan Quesa Jackfruit” tacos, and she was impressed; she even stopped to express her satisfaction to the staff. There are a lot of options for non-veg folks in case you have friends/colleagues/family who are less inclined to the veg lifestyle.

The hostess that sat us was very friendly. We had MO as our waitress and she took our order. Got to the bar and forgot what flavor drink i ordered. Instead of walking over from the bar to kindly ask what flavor i wanted her and another waiter called me from the bar to get my attention. I was sitting in a booth across from the bar. We ordered guac. And chips as an appetizer which was not good. The guac was cold from the fridge. And the chips are definitely corn tortillas that are fried. They are so hard and had clumps of salt that i brushed off or just didn’t eat. We had hopes that the food was going to be better even though the appetizer was not. The elote corn did taste good. The bang bang taco was not good. So glad i only ordered one taco instead of the flight. The service was awful. Our waitress gave us our drinks and chips and never came back. The place was not even busy. Mayb had like three couples in there. My husband needed a refill of soda, after waiting forever he had to drink some of my water. Our waitress MO was to busy chatting it up with staff at the bar and never checked on us. She eventually passed us and we asked for a refill, she said ok and walked back to the bar and kept talking before even bringing the refill. We waited forever for the check. I wanted to just walk up to her at the bar to get the check since she was to busy talking to acknowledge her customers. This was the first and last time i plan on going here. I think this place has a high rating only because its in a busy area.

I was amazed with this place. The atmosphere isn't like most places. The food is so amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a different place to try that has tacos you wouldn't normally see anywhere else.

1st visit and we will be back. We both ordered a taco flight. Chips and queso too! Every morsel was amazing! Each staff member greeted us with a smile! Our server was Kaytlyn, she was beyond amazing😉 Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Portions were huge!

Pros: Food is decent and inventive.
Cons: Wine is only sold in cans. Service was crazy slow, took way too long to even take our order. Seemed surprised when we asked for a drink menu.

Had a wonderful meal.
