Not ashamed to say we basically spent our whole day here lol. We lucked out that they do free tours on certain days, and we just so happened to be there only a few hours prior so we enjoyed their wonderful food and tasted quite a few beers before attending that tour. It was quite informative and lasted a long time, I always love to see what goes into the creation of tasty drinks! Then we wandered into their speakeasy and had a cocktail there before shuffling on to the other places we had planned to visit originally. I love how they repurposed so much of the school to craft their brewery, it makes it special. None of the beers we tried were anything less than stellar. I so wish we lived closer!

Do not like it at all. Unfiendly employees. Their beers are not good tasting beers. Will not return. Will not return to the "campus 805" location to visit any other businesses since StA employees were so rude and unfriendly.

I am so happy I decided to have lunch here. I almost passed because of some not so great reviews and checked brewery down the road first which had a horrible vibe and very high food prices. Decided to just give Straight to Ale a try and it was top notch. The service was personable, down to earth and attentive. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers and made sure I enjoyed my meal. The IPA was delicious- I wish I was not driving back to Nashville after lunch or I would have had more. The grilled cheese was stuffed full with cheese and toppings and so good. I visit Huntsville a few times a year and will be back without hesitation.

Foster was so awesome. They have beer, a full bar and fantastic service. I absolutely recommend this brewery.

Great food and festy vibes! I recommend the Diablo burger - it was fire. It's also in a cool location - it looked as though it was converted from an old school. Good vibes.

This was an interesting place. It's located in the old Stone Middle School building. Parking can get tight but we got lucky and found a spot (and this was during the week). There is memorabilia from the school still up which I enjoyed and I appreciate that much of the original building of the school is still in its original state. The menu had a wide variety of choices: pizza, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and a few other options. There was also a wide selection of drinks: cocktails and different types of beer. We had a large party and everyone ordered something different - tacos, pizza, burgers, fries, etc. It seemed that everyone felt the same about their food. It was just ok, not bad, but nothing over the top either. We ordered a few drinks and the drinks were not made as described on the menu. The service was struggling. You order your food and/or drink at the bar and and food ordered is delivered to your table. The server seemed a bit abrasive when we requested a fork (to eat the salad that she delivered) and when we asked for napkins. It was all of our first times there so we didn't know we were to grab our own utensils and napkins at the bar. All in all... there are many options on this campus so next time I'll likely try another location on campus in hopes for better food, drinks and service.

Angel provided the best customer service as a waiter; she were extremely kind and friendly, ensuring that we had the most exceptional dining experience. We will absolutely revisit their establishment.

Good food, decent beer selection. We had a big party so we had to sit in the patio. Sitting in the patio means you have to order first, take a number outside, and wait for your food. If you want to order more, you have to come around and do it again. Not having a waiter makes things a little inconvenient, and depending on the weather, sitting outside isn't always ideal either. Overall though, I really enjoyed my kimchi tacos, and a few of the other tacos I tried from my friends were also good.

The fact that Straight to Ale is located in the old Stone Middle School that I used to attend brings back some nostalgia. The food was pretty good. I had the Nauty Cuban and fries. The sandwich was really good, but the fries came out on the cooler side. I did eat them however, because it took a decent amount of time for the meal to come out. While we waited on the food, a couple appetizers, fries pickles and a BAMF pretzel, were ordered and shared amongst the group and they were good. We did have a party of 8 so they may have been part of it. The waitress did well at keep our drinks refilled and making sure we had what we needed while we waited. I have ate here before and had the El Diablo burger with fries and it was very good and no issues.I'll definitely go back and give it another try.
