The kitchen is the worst. The manager knows. Good luck not getting food poisoning in your always incorrect order. Don’t waste your time or money here. It’s the absolute worst Applebees in the state. The kitchen doesn’t even know what ingredients to put in the dishes. We have been going to this South parkway location for almost 30 years. I can’t believe we used to love this place. Just close it down already and let a restaurant that cares open. Why seat people or accept takeout orders when you don’t have the servers and kitchen staff to keep up? Whoever is in the kitchen is high but not in a good way. 🤮

Me and my boyfriend came by here last night for a good little date night, we sat at table 16, since we do not remember the name of our server. We ordered our food and I ordered a drink as well. About 10/15 minutes later a party of 6 or so come in and sit behind us and they order drinks as well. Our server brought my salad with the app and my boyfriend ended up getting his with his meal. We asked our server about my drink after about 15 minutes of waiting. When she walked away, I noticed her go to the POS and ring my drink in, it was also at the bottom of my receipt so I know it wasn’t rung in. I finally got my drink right before the party got theirs (4/5 drinks it looked like.) Our server brought my salad with the app and my boyfriend got his with his meal. My steak was overcooked but I was just assuming it was because everybody was getting ready to leave so I left it alone. I noticed her on her phone a few times throughout at the POS as well. I understand it was getting close to closing but as a server myself, I was disappointed.

Best Applebee's I have been to. Great staff and good service.

The food is on part with corporate box restaurants, so if you are looking for something to blow your socks off, this ain't it.

But the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant win a good review from me.

We had a young server tonight in the booths & the service was so bad. He looked annoyed when my husband asked questions. The service was slow too. The ceilings and light fixtures need to be dusted. I kept seeing dust fall down.

My husband and I went here last night. I was starving since I had surgery earlier that day and couldn't eat. I was finally eating at 9 pm. Our server was a young woman with black hair. She gave us poor service. It took her probably 20 minutes or more to bring us our waters. I was starting to lose my patience since I couldn't drink or eat all day. There was a family of four that were seated AFTER us & she gave them their drinks right away. She barely checked on us, and she never refilled our drinks. In addition, a blonde lady brought us our food. I was confused about my dessert since it looked different from the photo on the menu. I was trying to show her, but when I turned to look at her, she was already far gone without even listening to me. The food is great, but the service here has almost always been terrible.

The food was very bad. Noodles overcooked, sauce tasted weird. Boneless buffalo wings were hard and had some really hot powder doused all over them that made me throw up. Server was nice. That's about it.

we went to Applebee's on 09/13/2025 ever thing was ok I thought but the next day when I checked my bank card I seen I had been charged more The waiter had changed his tip from $6.00 to $ 16.00 and signed my name to the ticket. Applebee's refunded my 10.00 but that all the did this was a lot of trouble for me having to go to the bank and get a new bank card you could have offered me a gift card for my inconvenience because of your dishonest employee. my order was 21.00 so a 6.00 tip was ok

My friend & I recently dinned in here, when we arrived were addressed as door dashers from an employee sitting at a table from across the room , our appetizer was over cooked , the chips were stale , the food overall wasn’t fresh & last but not least we spoke w/ the manager & explained our concerns, he was very nonchalant & seemed to careless about the horrible experience we had .. we will not be back ! #BADCUSTOMERSERVICEEE !!!

The service was impeccable! Taffy was amazing! We really enjoyed ourselves!
