Applebee's Grill + Bar

Took 45 minutes to find out our food was never ordered, then another 30 minutes of waiting and no food. Paid for the appetizer and left. We will not be back.

I pick up Applebee’s a lot on my way home from work. I usually order the blackened salmon or the bourbon chicken and shrimp meals, and they are usually always good and their broccoli is usually awesome. The service is always good. That being said last night I ordered the bourbon, chicken and shrimp and I ordered a side of broccoli. For some reason the chicken tasted like it was cooked in soap, and the broccoli had absolutely no seasoning on it. I called the restaurant explained what happened and the manager Miss Lisa was so sweet. She made a note of my name and told me to call her when I was coming back by and she would make it for me. when I work tonight I called. I didn’t even have to tell her who I was. She knew as soon as we started talking who I was and she said OK I’m gonna go in there and get it going. I’ll see you when you get here. I picked up my food( Miss Lisa was still very sweet) came home. I ate my meal and it was amazing. She did a wonderful job and she is an absolute asset to Applebee’s she is the sweetest person. She’s also the reason I came on here to leave this review, because she was so sweet, and so kind and I greatly appreciate her. I hope Applebee’s knows what a great employee they have.

Classic combo now serving with a hair, no apologies, no excuses, just normal acting like nothing wrong. Last time I’m there with my family.

Started off with smelly customers in booth next to ours, not Applebee's fault but what to expect here I guess.

Sat down and got 3 sets of silverware for 4 people. And all 3, wrapped in the napkins like normal, were wet. Who wants a moist napkin no one knows why its wet.

Asked for 2 waters for parents and apple juice and milk for kids- got 1 water, 1 pibb, and 2 kids sprites- 1 of 4 correct. I didnt end up getting my water until after all the food arrived and 2 requests and kids didnt get the right beverage until food delivery.

I decided not to get dessert or a drink with that experience- whole point of coming in was apps for us and then dessert for the kids, ended up going somewhere else for the desserts.

Waitress was at least nice/friendly to us and the kids so still got a tip but certainly wasnt due to the food service.

Alexius was really not that friendly. Made my husband and I feel like an inconvenience. Didn't even bring us extra napkins or nothing. When she was present she had an attitude and when she wasn't present, she was nowhere to be found. All and all one of the worst experiences I've had at this location. Very unhappy with my service.

My daughter found hair in her drink. (Someone didn't wash their hands)!
Our waitress completely ignored us so we had to seat ourselves although it was maybe 10 people were at this location.

The kitchen is the worst. The manager knows. Good luck not getting food poisoning in your always incorrect order. Don’t waste your time or money here. It’s the absolute worst Applebees in the state. The kitchen doesn’t even know what ingredients to put in the dishes. We have been going to this South parkway location for almost 30 years. I can’t believe we used to love this place. Just close it down already and let a restaurant that cares open. Why seat people or accept takeout orders when you don’t have the servers and kitchen staff to keep up? Whoever is in the kitchen is high but not in a good way. 🤮
