Big Spoon Creamery

We went to the Huntsville location yesterday and had the Blueberry Cheesecake and it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Blown away by the quality and the workers were incredibly nice. 1000/10. I’m telling everyone to go to Big Spoon. 🩵

The flavors are unlike any you’ll find elsewhere. Will have your tastebuds singing. Sample all the flavors and then get yourself a flight. Flavors change every few weeks which is nice when you are the occasional visitor and want to try new, but a little sad when you find a favorite and know it wont be around for very long. The flavor that impressed me the most was the oatmeal cream pie. I was not expecting that to be so delicious. Highly recommend.

The Cookies N Cream on the vanilla cone will be something I will be dreaming about. We were visiting Huntsville and had dinner next door at Melt. And decided to get ice cream as our dessert. YUM! Highly recommend!! My husband ordered Brown Buttered Pecan and also loved it.

Where do I start... you had me at ICE CREAM ??
Cute shop, bright, plenty of seating inside/out. Service was super friendly kid who was happy to offer samples & comment on each option of ingredients.
Ice cream is made in house & very rich! I sampled 4 kinds & all were fabulous.
Ended up with Expresso Hazelnut. They even have coffee whipped cream! Shew.... so yummy (even a kids cup was plenty).
There are games outside like corn hole, very family friendly atmosphere.

Only "drawback" was parking is limited on street so need to park in garage & walk.

I’m so glad Big Spoon Creamery has come to Huntsville! They have been a favorite of ours in Birmingham since they opened. Everything here is scrumptious, and the flavors are truly unique.

Very cute shop & nice staff. Will was enthusiastic about the pineapple passion fruit compote & he was right. It’s really good. I got the banana split w/banana brûlée & the compote (requested without the graham crumble) & it was so good. Large servings of ice cream & nice atmosphere.

Big Spoon Creamery has the best ice cream, and a clean atmosphere! I also love that their bathroom comes stocked with extra diapers and baby wipes with a changing table. I don’t have a baby, but as I was sitting there, I thought about moms who come in there needing extra supplies or somewhere to sit their kid while using the restroom and thought, wow, I love that they thought to add the extras. I also adore the little ice cream cone hook on the back of the door. Very mindful, cutesy and very demure.

It was our first time at Big Spoon Creamery, and honestly had one of the best banana splits ever! The banana was covered in torched sugar… so good. The young reddish-blonde haired girl working at the counter was so sweet and helpful. Great experience.

What an incredible gem in downtown HSV. Their take on the banana split was fresh and modern. The banana was addicting with the sugar. The kids loved the cookies and cream as well as the brambleberry. Wil be a must stop for our treks into town. Great Mil discount to boot.

There was a long line but the workers were moving quick! Jaylen (I think that’s his name based on employee pictures) was very welcoming and helpful, despite them being busy and probably stressed. All other employees were kind and quick too. The serving size and flavor was better than Jeni’s Ice cream!
