My husband surprised our family with a trip to Big Spoon Creamery and it was amazing! The customer service was friendly, helpful and patient! The establishment was clean and quiet. The ice cream was tasty! The waffle cones were fresh and delicious! I selected the cinnamon caramel apple ice cream. The autumn sangria sorbet tasted EXACTLY like sangria! Our first experience was wonderful and we’ll be back soon!

Went and got the brown sugar pecan, highly recommend it. Also the chocolate cones are delicious.

We found our go to ice cream place in Big Spoon Creamery. Delicious ice cream, amazing seasonal selections and the young man working the evening of 10/8 was outstanding, he really took the time to explain what makes their shop unique and let us sample a few flavors before we made a decision. Highly recommend.

We hired Big Spoon to serve scoops at our wedding and what a TREAT they were to work with! The ice cream is delicious and amazing and obviously to die for. But the communication and day of service were a perfect touch to our late night dessert moment. Guests RAVED about the ice cream and couldn’t stop talking about the Red Plum Buckle (please we beg you make this a standard year round flavors!!). Thank you Big Spoon!

Ordered the little spoon. It tasted amazing! It is a little pricey for an ice cream shop but the little spoon is probably worth the cost once in a while. I haven't tried anything else there except the big spoon, which is just a bigger version of the little spoon, but after eating those, I don't know if I want to try anything else. I will go back to have one of those again.
Finding parking nearby can be a challenge if you aren't familiar with the area.

We stopped by to try this new ice cream parlor for an ice cream fix after dinner. After circling the blocks a few times, we parked a block away. Upon arrival, the menu doesn't have any catchy, fancy names. Also, no samples here. So you read the descriptions & choose wisely. We all chose the same flavor. So i can only speak on the one flavor, but i was told its their most popular- Magic City. We all had the Vanilla Waffle Cone. The only other option is Chocolate Waffle. The ice cream was good, but nothing to write home about. Nothing better than you'd get from picking up a pint of Ben & Jerry's. What really stood out was the waffle cone. We all agreed it was delicious! Also, price was typical for a single scoop & cone- $7.34ea w/ tax. I did like that they had free water & cups bc we all get thirsty eating ice cream, right? However, it was tap & warm (no ice). At least throw some ice in it. Overall, ok ice cream, better than some, nothing real special. Parking sucks bc its downtown. I wouldn't recommend a special trip, but if you're already downtown & want ice cream, maybe.

It was our first time trying Big Spoon Creamery. The ice cream was delicious. I had the Chilton County Peach in a waffle cone and my husband got the Cookies and Cream in a bowl. The ice cream was a great treat after our walking around in our beautiful downtown. Side note, they have a cute little table and chairs area for children in the store.
