Ordered $80 worth of food for pickup, when I got it home and opened what they had given us, we couldn’t help but laugh. They gave us the smallest portions possible and a few of the items we ordered were missing. For the first time in my life I called to complain to management. He seemed nice over the phone and told us he was going to mail us a gift card to make it right. Must have gotten lost in the mail! That’s ok, we’ll never be back.
Husband had the Ahi Tuna and it was perfect. I had the Butterfish and it was done perfectly also.
It's good
This place is a bit on the higher price side, but their food is very good. The bang bang shrimp is amazing, which is what I had before my meal. Everything I ate was amazing.
One of the best restaurants in the state of Alabama. The food was perfect. The service was perfect. The waiter never stopped refilling our drinks we tip them really good. Also they gave free desserts for graduates. Couldn’t ask for anything better than that
Great service and atmosphere...but it's the general consensus that they tend to overcook the fish...in fact they tend to overcook everything.
My wife and I went to Bonefish Grill on Whitesburg Dr. Friday, May 9, 2025 instead of another restaurant for date night. As with other guests, we did not realize the menu had changed. My wife ordered the crab cakes with the seasonal risotto. I ordered the Rockefeller Butterfish with broccoli and the seasonal risotto. The food was not good. My wife ate a fork full of her soupy risotto. Although the fish was moist and delicate, it was not seasoned as well as her crab cakes. We told our server the risotto was terrible but he did not offer an alternative nor did he offer to remove it from our bill. He was polite but did not provide the service of someone who would want diners to come back. The atmosphere was fine as it was approximately at 15% capacity. Our drinks, Indigo Sunset and a glass of Moscato were great. Our bill was approximately $98 including tax and tip. Our table was #704 and Receipt # 0077.SvrCk: 6. We were very disappointed with our experience, especially after deciding to dine here instead of the original restaurant we had in mind.
Let me start by saying I love Bonefish’s food. Which is why we chose it for Mother’s Day dinner. But today was less than great. It started by the hostess greeting us with an attitude and complete disrespect. We come in and she looked us up and down like we were trash! Not how I expected to be greeted or have ever been treated before at any restaurant. She then proceeded to take us to a table that was filthy. I mean food and dishes piled up everywhere on all the unseated tables. She did start to clean it and apologize but it was less than great when she was done. We ordered and the waitress was nice but slow. I understand however since it’s Mother’s Day. But we waited about 45-50 mins before our salads even came out. I actually had to ask for them at that point. Then our food came out with the salads. Waitress was decent but you could tell she was overwhelmed. Over all the hostess’ attitude, timing/wait and cleanliness was the worst parts. I’m not sure we will be back to this location in the future. Pretty bummed to have to write this as like I said I love Bonefish food.
Very good food. Tables are too close together. Food not served in a timely manner.
Ate here for the first time last night. The food came out hot and fresh. The food came out quickly. Our waitress was great. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with low lighting and candlelit tables. There is a bar area with two TVs. I got the chicken marsala and it was very good. My husband got the filet mignon with shrimp and scallops on top. He enjoyed his meal also. We got the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. It was okay - probably won't get it again. The complementary bread with olive oil dip was very good. We plan on eating here again!

Good food. Wish the Contemporary Cosmo was on the menu, but they did make it anyway!
I’ve not been here for a couple of years and the food definitely isn’t the same. It ranged from either too salty to lack of flavor and like one step above fast food. The calamari was almost raw, the seabass was rubbery and I had to search for the scallops in my pasta dish. Tellini’s, which is fast food, is better than this. Unfortunately, we won’t be back…
Restaurant was not busy. Food was “ok”. The bang bang shrimp was excellent as always but other food was forgettable.
Loved it! Must try!
The food was so fresh and prepared well. The Bartender, Chris is amazing!! He is so kind, personable, and makes a great martini!!!
