This is why people don’t support or take black business serious. This place was closed but it was during listed hours and all doors locked! I wouldn’t be surprised if they sat there and watched us try to get in and just disregarded us!

My food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered 6 pieces of wings, a side of greens, a side of macaroni and smoked cheese, and a piece of cornbread on the side. That mac and cheese taste as if it was spoiled. The greens were very blah and tasted like absolutely nothing. The cornbread was really dry. The wings were smoked, but for whatever reason they seemed to be soggy.

Best smoked turkey ever! Be sure & ask for gravy; she makes it out of the drippings—so good! She even works on Thanksgiving for those who forgot to order ahead of time. The patio is lovely for non-wintry days. Service is off the charts.

We had the pulled pork, ribs, wings, fried green tomatoes, and sweet potato pie. As soon as we peaked into the go-boxes we knew it was going to be good, and it was! I regret not going by sooner as it is a newer place in the 5-points area and affordable! I will definitely be going back for the brisket and loaded nachos!Finding the entrance was a bit of a challenge as there are multiple family businesses in that location. However, customer service was on point as a quick phone call was made and answered immediately to guide me to right door and wave me in.

Smelled this wonderful, smoky BBQ aroma from the next block over, stopped in and had a meal that was one of the most outstanding I've ever had. Got smoked chicken with blackeyed peas and smoked mac and cheese, along with honey-buttered toast and it was a truly exceptional meal. We've eaten a LOT of BBQ over the years and this place easily outdoes the majority of them, with the super-friendly owners, inside and outside dining and the quality of the food. Did I mention that you get to shop while you're waiting? That's a bonus. Will definitely be back to try all the other listings on their menu. A+ to Brookins Smoken on the Go.

Ordered loaded nachos took an hour to wait got charged $17. The chips were stale and mushy. Service was slow ? and its way over priced. Wish I could get my money back ended up not being edible. DONT EAT HERE!

Me and my husband will NEVER go there again! It was horrible!

Stopped in for the first time today for a quick sandwich to go. Lady was very nice and got straight to work on my food. Shortly thereafter she presented me with the beautiful thing you see pictured here! Unfortunately the flavors didn't do the looks of the sandwich any justice. The pork was so smoky that the entire thing tasted like a piece of mesquite charcoal. The smoke totally overwhelmed any flavor of the pork, the sauce and the slaw.I sincerely hope that I just caught them on an off day because if this sandwich had tasted as good as it looked, it would have been beyond spectacular!
