Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant

we went this evening for the first time in ages (do they'll survive without my support for ages to come). Came in with friends and was seated. Waitress got drink order, and brought that. a friend ordered 3 Tres Amigos and said the kids would get something different, There was 5 adults and 4 kids. Waitress had to be told that there was more orders after returning with drink refills. Food was great, no complaints there. she brought the tickets (we were split into 2 tickets) I had an extra charge on my ticket, when I asked about the charge she said it was because she brought one of the kids drinks in a regular cup !? what!? Both of the kids ordered from the kids menu (yes both under 11) she reduced the drink price although its included in the meal, I paid for the drink as another drink. Waitress was rude, not attentive, and careless. I was also charged more for my appetizer Quesadilla than what I should have. I gave up trying to explain anything when the waitress went sour.

I love this place so much, so I was super excited to have it again having just moved back to town! Absolutely delicious, great service, and fair prices. As others have mentioned, the portions are pretty big, so, in my opinion, you’re definitely getting a bang for your buck!

We really enjoyed our late dinner. There was so much food, I have leftovers for lunch for the next few days!

Best mexican restaurant in North Alabama!!

Such a large fantastic menu. Super fast and friendly service. A very down home, comforting feel and one of my very favorite places to eat, hands down.

I have been going to the Bailey Cove Casa Blanca location for almost my whole life, so I felt like I owed it to them to leave a great review, because my experience has always been amazing. Excellent lunch deal prices, and the portions are very generous for the price. If I wanted to, I could be in and out of there in 15 minutes because the service is so fast. And of course, the food is delicious!

Casa Blanca in Athens, AL used to be one of my favorite places for Mexican food. Not anymore. I ordered off of the lunch menu, NOT DINNER, my total bill was $39.22. Yes LUNCH!!!!!!!!! I questioned the bill when I went to pay. I was told everything has went up, that's how much it is. I asked to talk to the Manager, he said he was the Manager. SMH 😳 I paid for it and told THE MANAGER I wouldn't EVER be back. NEEDLESS to say I didn't tip one red cent. I usually tip 20 plus percent of my bill. If you like Mexican I'd like to suggest you drive past this one and go to any other one. Even if you have to drive a long way to find one. I wouldn't go back if I just won the lottery for $400,000,000.

Service is so-so. But the food is still good. Prices are higher than other Mexican restaurants, but the portion is big enough to share or have leftovers. The grilled peppers are SO HOT! But you can't stop eating them!!

We went for lunch. Our 6 yr old had the kids pizza and loved it. I had a chili releno and a soft chicken taco. It was a large plate of food, served very hot, and the rellano was very flavorful, but the chicken taco was quite bland and almost tasteless. The restaurant was pleasant, and the staff attentive. Lunch prices ran around $11 or so, it looked like dinner would be another 5 to 10 dollars or more depending on selection. I will go again but probably avoid the chicken dishes.

I ordered takeout online. There is a disconnect somewhere because the front desk was unaware of it. Order was ready 20 minutes after I received confirmation that my order was ready for pickup.

We used to be regulars, but will not be back. Our family of 3 used to could eat for under $50. Now, my ticket for just myself is $40+. Pay attention to the prices and your ticket.

This is our go to for a good sit down restaurant with the family. The puffy tacos are delicious. The staff are amazing and friendly. Bring your birthday boys there, and they will get a song, some whipped cream on the face, and a sombrero!! Pretty funny! We take our boys there pretty often.

Kid-friendliness: Tell the staff when it's your kids birthday it's fun!
