Matt (aka Sir Mix-A-Lot) was a great bartender and server. It was such a cool atmosphere. Each drink served is a double, so you definitely get you money’s worth. the vibe was immaculate and makes you feel special. I loved the initiate seating and the ambiance. You pick a spirit and 2 flavors, but the bartender will make your drink based on your personality/vibe and he is extremely accurate. Such a fun time and will be back!! @matt you can’t get rid of us lol

My husband and I came here last year for my birthday. We were really excited for some pre-dinner drinks and I had already had a rough birthday with attending my grandpa's funeral that morning. When my husband went to the bathroom, I pulled out my phone to take a picture of the bar.The bartender/owner made eye contact with me and my phone and immediately came over and told me "Please don't take pictures of the bar." When I asked if I could take them but just not post them (out of confusion and embarrassment), he responded harshly "Don't take pictures of MY BAR."I'm sure you've probably seen ALL of the other reviews and even the Church Street website with PLENTY of pictures of the bar/atmosphere and even the bartender/owner himself. Not sure why I was the exception and got scolded, especially from taking one picture on my birthday. Note - there were no signs, nothing in the email, nothing on the website about not taking photos or I would have definitely obliged!Other than that, we had a good experience and the drinks were great. However, I was really taken aback and it doesn't make me want to go back.

My husband and I went on a Friday night. We were buzzed in promptly & our instructions were easy to understand. The bartenders were EVERYTHING! They knew exactly what to pair together to make the perfect drink. They were both very friendly, service was prompt (they came around about every 15-20 minutes) & the drinks were phenomenal. My favorite line of the night "we don't serve our tequila with salt & lime because we have GOOD tequila" 10 stars! Will definitely be back.

Great experience in Huntsville. The ambiance and environment are unmatched. The cocktails are excellent and custom tailored to your tastes. The mixologists are able to help out if you cant decide on something and there was not a single person in our group that didn’t completely enjoy the drinks and experience.From the sounds of low reviews people were expecting more a standard bar but this is a craft cocktail experience and you get what you pay for! Cant recommend enough.Dietary restrictions: They request info about any allergies to ensure cocktails are safe!

Fantastic experience - small and intimate inside with an air of secrecy. We sat at the bar and watched the drinks being made and chatted with the bartenders, who were both awesome! Every drink was unique and yummy and we learned some things too. We will definitely be back! Note - those with asthma should be aware that although the bar is nonsmoking, they do light things on fire and add smoke to drinks so it does have a smokey atmosphere.

We rented the whole place out for a birthday bash and had a great time. It's pricey and maybe a bit boujie for some, but if you want a unique and memorable experience, you should treat yourself. Go with an open mind. The drink order system is 1. pick a spirit (including mocktail options), 2. pick two flavor profiles, and 3. trust the bartenders. Can't stress #3 enough. If you don't like what they bring you, you probably aren't getting a refund. Picky drinkers need not apply.Wheelchair accessibility: This is in the basement. There are stairs and I did not see an elevator.

Wow! What an experience. Cocktails created “dealers choice” based on the selection of a base spirit and 2 taste characteristics. The result is outrageous creativity and fantastic, tasty drinks. Matt was a fantastic host and clearly loves (and has mastered) his craft. We can’t wait to go back.

Recvd a call 1 day before our reservation. Was told they forgot there was a private event on day of our reservation and they needed to cancel us. They said they could squeeze us in if we wanted to go in 2 hours from now, we said yes. They gave us the password over the phone. We called the red call box on the street and gave our password and last name. Hostess had a horrible attitude stating we are not on the "list". I explained what happened with our reservation and she buzzed us in. Hostess seated us and explained how to order drinks and she was extremely nasty. Bartender came over to ask us about our drink order and he was nasty also! Bartender was super rude when he delivered our drinks. Bartender also barked at us for takingva selfie. He said photos were only allowed of your drink or your face, but a male patron named Phil posted 10 photos of this place on his review 4 months ago! Bartender needs to get his facts straight and adjust his "high and mighty" attitude! Hostess and bartender were giving us nasty looks, we took one sip of our drink, walked up to the bar, paid our tab and left! We were there a tital of 7 minutes!! Such entitled/snooty/bullying personnel working there. Cool concept, but horrible delivery. ?

Arrived at 8:30 on Saturday Jan 13. Pressed the call box and gave the password. Woman said she didn’t have a reservation for us and she was very rude. We explained that we had a confirmation and she buzzed us in. There was only one other party down there so I don’t understand why they gave us such a hard time. Both employees seemed like they just wanted the day to end. I don’t drink alcohol for personal reasons and I was the designated driver so I ordered a mocktail. When the bartender got to our table to grab our drink orders, he looked over our papers and asked “does someone really want a mocktail? You know that’s for pregnant women, right?” We were all taken aback and I said “Yes I want a mocktail please, I’m not pregnant” He scoffed and stormed off frustratingly. There’s lots of reasons why people don’t drink. Medical reasons, can’t mix with medications, recovering alcoholics, not just pregnancy. Maybe he was trying to be funny but he came off very irritated . He came back with a drink for me that was just pineapple juice and a burning cinnamon stick. I wrote on my paper that I wanted a floral bubbly mocktail and this was just not it. They charged me $11 for that pineapple juice. Crazy. My friends were also taking pictures of each other sitting at the table with their drinks and the bartender screamed from across the room “THIS IS A SPEAKEASY. YOU CAN’T TAKE PICTURES OF THE ROOM!!” We apologized and payed the bill and left without finishing our drinks we were so embarrassed. As I look at other reviews on here, there are many posts pictures of the whole room. Beware if the pretentious hipsters that work here ? do not recommend.
