Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We ate at Cheddars in Branson, MO. Between having to wait 30 minutes for a table, and then waiting for our meals, it was 2 hours and we still didn't have our food. Our waiter was wonderful; funny and chatty and very professional. Before he even brought our food, the waiter told us our meal had been comped. We never complained, never asked where our food was; we were enjoying talking with each other. Our waiter knew how long we'd been waiting. That's wonderful customer service. And our waiter got a really good tip!

I would say that Cheddar's is similar to Chili's or Applebee's, but a little better. Great side dishes. I love the broccoli cheese casserole. The lunch menu has good prices. They have a large bar area. The fried fish never disappoints. Each guest gets a warm croissant drizzled with honey butter to start. The pork chops are good. So is the salmon, Dijon chicken, and tilapia. Great Comfortable place for family dinners.

This was the WORST experience ever. I went to cheddars on November 15th to celebrate my birthday which was November 16th. My friends and I sat at the bar and waited about 20/25 minutes before anyone greeted us. The manager on shift even walked behind the bar and did not acknowledge us. Once Samantha , the bartender greeted us she seemed to have an attitude . She made my drink which took another 5 minutes or so and did not even ask the other two people who were with me what they wanted to drink . However, an elderly white couple came in and she immediately took there drink order and even got there food out with thin 15 minutes or so. Around 40 minutes of us being there my friends still had not gotten there drinks , she never brought the croissants we asked for and she didn’t ask to take our order. It was one other couple at the end of the bar that heard us talking among ourselves and she stated “welcome” and said how Samantha had been like this all night and was not attentive etc. we begin talking to the couple and I made the comment “they’ll answer to a corporate complaint.” That’s when Samantha came from around the corner and inserted herself into our conversation. I begin asking her who was she talking to and that I wasn’t speaking to her. She immediately got loud and irate and proceeded to curse at my friends and I and also called us ignorant . I never got loud or out of my seat I remained very calm. The was very inappropriate and I can’t believe the manager did not at least tell her to apologize or send her home for the night . I was there to celebrate my birthday along with my graduation in a few weeks. I have worked as a server for over 5 years and I have never disrespected let alone cursed at a guest. The management is horrible and so are some of the servers. This is the 2nd time in a couple months I’ve had a problem with this location. It’s even sadder because we traveled almost an hour to get treated like this . 0/10 don’t recommend !

Listen!! Mia was absolutely amazing!! Super nice, served us so so well! Thank you so much Mia! The food was amazing and everything was fresh. We are 2 hours away from home and it was a great experience!!

My daughter and I went to Cheddars and had a great experience. Our server, Josie, was absolutely amazing! She was really sweet and made sure to check on us throughout our time there. The food was also pretty good as well. We had to send our rice back a couple of times because it was hard and my broccoli tasted burnt. But other than that, we didn’t have any other issues.

Horrible service and food!!!
My family and I visited the restaurant on 11/2/2025. First, the sodas were Horrible. My daughter ordered the fanta orange and it came to the table looking like light orange water. Tge Waiter said the syrup was out! And he still brought us the soda away. It took 15m to get another. The bread was under cooked. After 45 mins, the manager came to the table to tell us that someone had taken my husband's steak and they were doing a refire.

The food came to the table wrong! Both plates had to be refired. By that time we had been sitting 45ms we asked for the food to go. My salmon was beyond overcooked! The steak was still the wrong size!

There was still a charge for an appetizer we DID NOT get. When we asked the server to have it removed he stated they gave it to use for 1/2 off! He wanted us to pay 1/2 price for something we never received. This place was awful! We will not go back!

Dear Cheddars, how about you put the butter for the croissants on the side instead of giving us butter with a side of croissants. It’s ridiculous.

Order to-go twice from here and each time they have forgotten our gravy and crescent rolls. They also messed up my drinks. Sad because we love cheddars. I think we are done ordering to-go from them.
