We ate at Cheddars in Branson, MO. Between having to wait 30 minutes for a table, and then waiting for our meals, it was 2 hours and we still didn't have our food. Our waiter was wonderful; funny and chatty and very professional. Before he even brought our food, the waiter told us our meal had been comped. We never complained, never asked where our food was; we were enjoying talking with each other. Our waiter knew how long we'd been waiting. That's wonderful...
I would say that Cheddar's is similar to Chili's or Applebee's, but a little better. Great side dishes. I love the broccoli cheese casserole. The lunch menu has good prices. They have a large bar area. The fried fish never disappoints. Each guest gets a warm croissant drizzled with honey butter to start. The pork chops are good. So is the salmon, Dijon chicken, and tilapia. Great Comfortable place for family dinners.
