The Palate, by Chef Will

We recently ate here for the second time while visiting Lowe Mill. We had a giant plate of collard greens, beans, rice, fried plantain, avocado, and cornbread pancakes as well as a potobello wrap that comes with corn chips. Everything was absolutely delicious (especially the portobello wrap and the cornbread!), and the servings are huge! We did have to wait a while for our food even though there wasn't a line, so don't come here if you're in a hurry. Prices aren't posted but iirc the plates were $15 each.

Beautiful Lowe Mill provides free parking, clean restrooms, and outdoor tables nearby. We had a lovely visit exploring the local artists' studios and enjoying a delicious meal.

My only complaint is I wish they'd consider a more sustainable alternative to the styrofoam packaging.

Food is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve only ever tried a couple menu items. Haven’t tried everything. I just know what I love so I keep getting it! The price is well worth the amount of food. It has always been at least a 30 mins wait from when I order. Fresh cooked food. I never am mad about the wait because the quality makes up for it. Located at Lowe mill so while you’re waiting walking around to look at art makes the time fly. Loves this place. Will always recommend this to anyone vegan or not. Thank you chef will for all that you do!!!

The meals by Chef Will are absolutely superb. Even a carnivore like me was more than satisfied with the blackened portobellos over rice which was amazingly good. Curried lentils were good too. Don’t forget to try the various teas. Worth the wait!

There is nothing bad whatsoever on this menu. Even his custom orders on the fly are delicious everything this man makes is a blessing to my stomach and taste buds and I wish I could eat his cooking every day and drink nothing but his teas 🖤🌺 highly recommended you try everything possible from his food truck!! He’s very chill and friendly too he has such a dope vine it makes it all that much better

The food was amazing!! I got the blackbean wrap w/ vegan cheese and it was much more food than I expected. Chef Will was really chill. The way he prepared was so great. 100% recommend Chef Will!

Hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had. You can taste the love and care in every bite. It’s not just food—it’s soul work. The person behind this truck is clearly genuine and passionate, and it shows. God bless you for sharing this kind of goodness with the world. I’ll keep coming back! 💚

His food is amazing. I’m not vegan, vegetarian or any of that stuff. But, I consider his food to be the best in town. You will never leave their hungry or feeling cheated. His portions are gigantic and taste good.

I cannot brag enough about this yummy food! My first time trying it and the flavor was THERE! I got the portobello mushroom wrap this time and the mango madness drink (a beautiful person recommended). So YUM! I have been trying to eat here for several months now and always happened to miss my opportunity.

Today was my day and so worth the wait, now I just kind of feel like I've been neglecting myself. 🙏🏼 Thank you for being here and thank you for sharing your talent.. I'll be back and bringing the rest of my family!

The food is made with love! I love the food every time we come here it’s really delicious definitely good soul food

Chef Will cooked and served up delicious fresh made to order vegan food ! No processed cheese/meat substitutes here. Whole food plant based vegan food at its finest with the curry veggies or vegetable stew with quinoa being some of our favorites! Corn bread is fried patties and so delicious! We love the greens and the plantains! Always a generous portion! It's one of my favorite places to get food. This is a stationary food truck with limited seating located on the farside of an art building. You can drive right up to the food truck so if you cant reach it from the entrance you try first, then there is a second entrance, and you can drive around the building to the food truck. Open dinner hours so you can pick up on your way home, but good luck not snacking in the car ;) I do!!!

I'm transitioning into a more health life style and craved it today. Went o the camp for vegan burgers but the food truck wasn't there. Google healthy food choices and The Palet popped up. The drive was worth it. The food is so good. Trust I am a picky eater but learning to keep an open mind. So this is my first visit but definitely not the last. Thank you Sir. I had the the spinch salad bowl with plantains, avocado Collar greens and salsa and something else I cant think of right now but it's enough to feed my family of three and I bought this just for me. I also got the drink called the Iron machine I think. I'm so sorry I'm butchering this man menu🥴🥴🥴 but it was also good. I know where to go when I want healthy food. It's a must good try him out Runnnn to try him out.
