We have had breakfast there many times service was always good so was the food. Today we stopped in for lunch the I ordered a hamburger medium what I received was a medium rare. I had only taken one bite. I called the waitress over explained that it was to rare and that I didn't want a replacement burger. She came back with a replacement burger and said I had told her not to bring me one. The manager came by explained to me that I had received a medium burger and that a medium well done burger had just a little pink. Thats not how I understood the difference between medium and well.done. When you take a bite out of your burger and the inside looks raw and it's dripping blodd that's not medium. Ihad ordered a side salad with my burger that cost $1.50 when I received my ticket my side salad jumped to $4.95. Not happy that I got attitude about the how my burger was cooked it wasn't worth discussing my side salad. We paid and left. Would not recommend getting lunch at the City Cafe.

Wish they were consistent with giving bread basket out, sometimes the waiter remembers ...other times forgets even though other tables receive one. Food is always great!
