We visited this restaurant two weeks ago, and although the health score was only 77, it was still a decent experience. However, I’m thrilled to report that the food quality has significantly improved since then. Today, the health score was 86, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was exceptional as well. We’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant. Keep up the great work and the positive changes!

We stopped by for lunch and ordered 2 salads. Our server was lovely and friendly. When my salad came, it had the smallest sprinkle of quinoa and 2 edamame which were the main ingredients. It was quiet disappointing. The server offered to bring me more which was very nice, but when she did it still not the amount you would expect for a quinoa and edamame salad. Both combined were less than 1/4 cup. Overpriced for a bed of kale salad.
The other salad was ok.

Always a terrific experience: a beautiful atmosphere, genteel, superb staff. If looking for an experience with some refinement, the Commerce Kitchen achieves this beautifully. Even simply for drinks, it fully delivers! Recently I had the most delicious impromptu cocktail made with strawberries, lemon bitters, etc. and topped with whipped egg whites. The bartender perfectly balanced the lemon with superb tartness and strawberry sweetness. It could not have been more delicious! Divine!!

We used to adore Commerce Kitchen but our past few visits have been merely ok. This last visit, we loved the steaks, fried green tomatoes and the nashville hot chicken bites but the creme brulee was not up to snuff (seemed like the eggs were not tempered properly and instead of a custard we got baked eggs). Service was fine but not stellar (example, my tea was empty and I turned the top over to signal we would like more and nobody ever came by to ask if I wanted more).

We had a great time here. The food was excellent and the drinks were stellar. We sat at the bar and Paul was both attentive and helpful. He advised us on things to do while we are in town and was an all around stand up dude. 10/10 would come back and recommend to friends.

We had the Christmas Eve Dinner. It was delicious. My wife had the duck, the rest of the party had the filet.

The service was great, no problems there at all.

I like how the booths allow for a little privacy, but the place has some extremely bright lighting, and nothing to dampen sound, and overall has the feel of a diner, which is strange for an upscale dining experience.

The food is my main "gripe", or really its just oookay.

We got four dishes and shared.

The porkchop: Nice sear on the outside but overall lacking in flavor and drier than a bone in chop should be. The mac and cheese was also bland, like heavy cream roux without much else. Although it was "bacon" mac, it was just some bacon bits sprinkled on top, not baked with it to add any real flavor to the mac. The brussel sprouts were the best part. If you want a good bone in chop, go to Domaine South.

The Burger: Good. Good burger, nothing to write home about. Very small portion of fries.

Australian Wagyu: A nice cut of steak, the sauce on top was good, probably worth the $55. The truffle mashed potatoes were almost just literally smooshed potatoes? They weren't creamy or particularly flavorful. Honestly almost watery.

The Ravioli: Literally the best thing that we got, it was the only thing I was remotely WOW'ed by. It was great, but the portion was SO tiny. My dad chose this as his primary entree, and after the rest of us had a small bite, he didn't have much left. As a small female, it wouldn't have been enough for me either. I believe it was like 4 raviolis and some loose meat in the bowl.

Cookie a la mode: No complaints, delicious, but I'd take any BJ's pizookie over it any day.

I'd give it another try, maybe try some different dishes.

Me and my family went for brunch- we thought the portions were small for the price. And the food was just alright. Maybe dinner is better

One of the best Shrimp and Grits I have ever had! I appreciated that they seated us last minute for a Sunday lunch, and the food was still spot on, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was elegant yet inviting! They also have a thoughtful wine list, and the menu is varied, yet not overwhelming.

Me if I took my daughter here for her 27th birthday. I ordered New York strip. The steak was extremely tough with a long piece of griddle. The vegetables were so salty I could not eat them. I ate very little of this $40 meal. I asked the waitress to let the manager know. I specifically told her that I was not asking for a refund, that I only wanted to make the manager aware. I know that some times that variance in quality occur. The manager did not come out to the table, a common customer service courtesy. The waitress relayed that the chef said “my food is not salty”. The waitress was nice but slow in checking back on us. My daughter asked me several times throughout the meal where our waitress was. I would highly recommend spending your money at other restaurants in town with better customer service, Purveyor, The Bottle, Cotton Row.

Wife and I did not have reservations but were able to sit at the bar. We had a Caesar salad, salad wedge, French onion soup and fried green tomatoes, side of mac and cheese. Wife and I both had one bourbon drink. Bartender was attentive and conversational like they are supposed to be. But way over priced for salads, soups, and drinks. Other food looked good.

Took my daughter, and everything was fantastic. I had the Prime Rib, and she has the coffee crusted sirloin. I have to admit that the Prime Rib was underwhelming, especially for the price.

Never dissapointed at the Kitchen! Choose the cozy dining room or the gorgeous bar, hosted by one of HSVs best bartenders, Katherine. If you're looking for a great time, where they treat you like family, go to Commerce Kitchen!
