My husband and I went here for the first time on a Friday evening and sat at a high top by the bar. Everyone was very friendly and personable, but Karlie was our server and she was so sweet! She made some great recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started with the fried green tomatoes and they did not disappoint. We split a wedge salad, I got the rigatoni alla vodka, husband had the pork chop and split the seasonal bread pudding. So yummy! Will definitely be back.

Came in on a rainy Saturday, and immediately loved the atmosphere. It wasn't busy yet, and we didn't have a reservation (1st time visiting Huntsville). The hostess was rude as soon as we said we had no reservation. She offered us an outdoor seat, even though there were only a few patrons at that time, and it was drizzling. The bartender asked her to seat us. Once seated, Timothy (our server) was quick, friendly, and extremely helpful. My husband had the prime rib special, and I had filet mignon. The food was great, the service was awesome. I would recommend this place.

The food was good, but the experience wasn’t great. We waited about an hour, maybe a little more, for our meal, which really took away from it. Our waiter wasn’t friendly at all until it was time to tip. I don’t expect to be best friends with the staff, but a little friendliness would have made the night a lot better, especially for the price. The layout of the tables made things extremely tight.

Second time I have been here. The first time was great. This time was not. After ordering, our waitress disappeared and we did not see her for probably close to 30 minutes. When we asked another waiter for help to find our waitress, someone else came to help us. Our food took forever to come on a slow lunch day. Then the manager came over and had a great opportunity to make it right and just apologized and walked away. A huge fail.

We were visiting the area and decided to walk around the downtown area and check it out. We happened upon Commerce Kitchen and were so glsd they could seat us. We both got the filet, anf I added the brussel sprouts. Everything was absolutley amazing.
The bread pudding and coffee for dessert was the perfect ending.
Our waitress was so sweet.
We will definitely be back once we move.

I got the rigatoni pasta it was so good and I got the hot honey chicken bites they were delicious I also got a salad but it quite literally didn’t have dressing on it.. but overall it was good.
This was a great dinner restaurant. From beginning to end, everything flowed. The salmon was a flavorful dish and the Brussels sprouts were amazing as an appetizer. The shrimp and grits were awesome as well and very filling. Our server Octavius was extremely helpful in the selections we chose. The price was very reasonable for the meal we enjoyed.

Before deciding to try CK I read reviews, looked at pictures of plated menu items and thought why not give it another go. My family seemed to enjoy it in the past year. My two other visits I came away with sadness because Huntsville appreciates good food and service. We have so many franchises now and unless it is worth the trip I refuse to go. I make excellent food at home. I know what is in my food. I am picky too! The plate should include what the menu says will be there. It should not be overcooked, burned or served cold if it is to be hot. The server makes a big difference in the picture. They should know the ingredients, whether gluten is part of a dish. Mind you not all servers are cooks, but they can try to understand what they serve. Do I recommend this restaurant, yes it met all the criteria I expect when paying good money. Our entire group of six had an enjoyable meal. My shrimp and grits a popular dish was all I could have hoped. Delicious! Hot honey chicken sandwich was rated very good by two and the stuffed French toast although black on the outside was eaten by another. Sausage was burned too! But, they did not send back to kitchen. I would have done so. I get that there is sugar in the mix, but turn down the grill or watch it closely. I saw others served same and it was not black, but a nice brown. Please do not serve to your guest. We eat with our eyes first. It is a few pieces of bread after all.
