Visited for the first time for a pre-symphony dinner. Everything was delicious, and the staff was charming. The Alabama gulf coast oysters were fantastic, and the ahi tacos were also worth going back for.

If i could give this less than one star I would. It would a pleasure to know how the food taste but we weren’t even given that opportunity to begin with. Instead, we were met with the assumed bartender on a call on speaker in front of the store front. And the rest of the staff wandered through the small space aimlessly and in silence. We sat for around 15 minutes or so waiting to even be greeted after we sat down however that never happened. After exchanging silent , awkward (and silent) looks with the staff, we decided to leave. At LEAST one of the cooks came from the back to inform the bartender that he had a table (even though he watched us walk in) but even then there was no interaction. If this was the last open place in Huntsville Alabama, I’d be better off eating on a dirt road in the middle of no where then expect to be sat, served, or even spoken to at Sea Salt.

Fun little place on a corner in downtown. Good atmosphere, great service! Best for singles or couples. Seating for larger groups gets awkward. Oysters were excellent, so were the ahi tacos and the guacamole. No one in our party liked the brie in the adult grilled cheese. Might return for the oysters.

Sea Salt is a fun little bar in downtown Huntsville if you're looking for a nice spot to get drinks or something to eat. I love the modern, coastal feel of the decor and interior. During nice weather, I love the open air feel of this place when the garage door is open, making it feel very inviting from the street. The bartended was friendly and attentive. I ordered the margarita, which I really enjoyed. In addition to the full bar, they have a large beer list with taps around the bar. The food menu is small but focused on the seafood theme. I ordered the lobster roll for $22, which I believe was a special because it was on a little insert card in the menu. I really enjoyed it and loved that it was butter-based and not mayo. While there are a few high top tables, most of the seating is at the bar and I can see this place getting crowded on a nice night. I do really enjoy this place, but the food is a bit pricey for the portion size. This is a great location for drinks though, and if you like seafood and don't mind a pricier dinner for a nice night out, definitely check this place out. I will definitely be back!

Tiny space that packs a punch. We went on a slower Sunday, the only customers in the bar. Service was quick and delicious. Oysters were phenomenal and the ahí tuna tacos and grilled cheese were outstanding - you MUST get the tacos if you enjoy ahi tuna.

Food and drinks were amazing. We were out for a relaxing evening. Staff was super frindly, very helpful and added to the experience. The Ahi Tacos were the perfect pairing for a couple of drinks and some good live music.Thank you for the recommendation. It was a far reach for me, seeing as I do not do raw seafood. I was feeling a bit adventurous and gave it a shot. It was well worth it. Definetly will be back.

We had oysters. They were delicious West Coast oysters from Washington, no name given. Also ceviche and shrimp cocktail. The ceviche was delicious and the shrimp was good but overcooked in my opinion. I'm pretty picky about overcooked seafood. They were large and sweet though as well as a little chewy. The thing that bothered me were the chips with the ceviche were a little stale, like not old but just not crunchy. And the crackers and corn nuts too. I'm not that into crackers and chips so no big deal for me but why? The crackers were saltines, seasoned in house. We sat at the bar, there were a ton of beers and some wine on tap, it was lunch and we drove from a couple hours away, so did not have any beer. There was outdoor seating and music, also a few small tables but over very small inside and very casual. There wasn't much atmosphere, but it was pleasant enough. TV's had sports and actually Wheel of fortune playing, for what it's worth.Parking: Accessible to back of restaurant. I think there were picnic tables out back in the garage area. I had parked on the street. There was closed circuit video of the parking lot.

This was our first visit and last; even if we were offered a free meal, we wouldn't go back. I have never had as bad of service as we had today at Seasalt. The server did not speak to us; even when he took our order, he just stared; literally, no words came out of his mouth. However, he was all talk and laughing at the bar. So, his loss because we typically tip well above 20%.As for the food, it was mediocre, the oysters were inconsistent, some good some not. The ahi tacos were just okay it seemed like they were attempting a shoyu sauce but the sauce was just so overpowering that you couldn’t really enjoy the ahi.

Great place for oysters and beer. Mainly sea food items on the menu. They have some different type of oysters. The place used to be where you could try different beers and just pay per ounce, but now you just order a glass.
