I love this Cafe but drove out to it the other day to find out they’re permanently closed. Breaks my heart. They really need to update Google.

Cyn Shea's is a favorite and almost a tradition for my boyfriend and I. We are big foodies and love trying new restaurants around Huntsville, but we always come back to Cyn Shea's, and recommend them to everyone in our friend groups. Every item we've tried has been absolutely delicious, and we love the sweet tea.

This is such a wonderful place to eat. I come here often to just sit by the fire, recline and do work while they feed me awesome coffee. But my favorite part is Jesus prints everywhere.

My family had Jazz brunch here on Sunday, and it was great. The blueberry pancakes are absolutely phenomenal. My husband got the breakfast tacos, and they were good, but not nearly as good as the pancakes. The prices are a smidge high for a counter service restaurant, but they are a mission supporting the community. They can't do that without running their business at a profit. I do think they could benefit from a host or some signage. When we arrived we stood in the doorway for awhile waiting for someone to seat us. There was a line, so we couldn't see the counter at the back of the store, and the only signage we could see was for the ladies' room, so we thought that's what the line was for. We sorted it out, ordered, got our drinks and table. Then, when our food came, the server didn't bring silverware. We waited several minutes to see a server again, and when we didn't after some time, we got up and roamed around to discover the silverware is by the drink station and I guess you're supposed to get your own? Anyway, the set-up was a bit confusing/irregular for a first timer, but again, really good food. Well worth the visit.

Pleasant spot making very good coffee. Nice work space, though it fills up. A bit expensive for what you get: a latte, bottled kombucha, and 12 Oz of bean coffee was $30.

Limited breakfast menu that ends a bit earlier than I would like. The fireplaces are lovely in the winter. They lost one star for being a bit less than welcoming at the counter. The attitude didn't match the feel of the place. The other lost star is for having anti science literature strewn about. If you bring kids (or impressionable adults) makes sure to explain that there is absolutely no truth to the creationism propaganda. Great learning opportunity! Just make sure it's the right lesson.

Another unique eatery with great hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, hot plates and sides and "Huntsville's BEST Cornbread!" They only serve lunch or we would have eaten here sooner.
