This place was nailing it on all fronts! The food tasted so fresh and came out super fast. William was our waiter, an absolute delight to talk to! I highly recommend checking this place out.

Our late lunch and cocktails were pretty good (a tad too salty across the board). We needed a modification after they arrived at the table, waiter was great about it. Nathan was great, very attentive and accommodating.

The Holistic Wellness Collective celebrated my birthday at Del Chuco. Yummy food and great Margherita. I hear they even do amazing mocktails! The staff had a fun Mexican Bingo game to play. It was a great place and a wonderful location. Can't wait to check out the Underground!

This is the best food I have had in a long time. Some people complain that it is pricey but it's not. Compare it to any other place and you will see that it's not. The service has always been top notch. The drinks are really good and actually very well priced. I highly recommend El Chuco and I really hope HSV supports this place and that it sticks around.

Chuco is awesome. When I first visited I ordered the chicharone appetizer on a whim, now it's something I crave. I got to have it every time I go. The Chile Colorado was amazing, deep smoky mole with beef and potato hunks with awesome flavors. Steak nachos were so flavorful, asada flavored and tender. Birria sandwich was an awesome lunch I had with chorizo potatoes. There's a few options for Tex Mex in town, Chuco is my get to.

We had a party of twenty people visiting Del Chuco this week, and although I know it can be challenging to accommodate such a large group, the staff there was exceptional! They were friendly and managed to cater to the needs of the entire group. Our guests had a wonderful time and are eager to come back on their own. The group made three stops during their evening out, and after visiting the third venue, they decided to return to Del Chuco because it was the most enjoyable. Thank you very much for your outstanding hospitality! You did a fantastic job!

Today I ate lunch at Del Chuco Cantina and it was an amazing experience. The restaurant has a really authentic Hispanic atmosphere with 2 outdoor eating spaces and even an underground lounge/bar area. The chips and salsa is an amazing starter, easily some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. We had excellent service by Nathan. He was friendly, answered any questions we had, and was genuinely just an excellent server. He made my first experience there amazing and I will be coming back. Easily my favorite restaurant in Downtown Huntsville now .

My favorite new downtown spot.

Besides this place having a great atmosphere, full bar, and welcoming staff the food is terrible. I have a couple suggestions! I think the lettuce is terrible quality it’s all I could taste in my steak bowl maybe substitute it for romaine lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce. Customers should know that most rice dishes are yellow rice. I will come for drinks but that’s about it.
