Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This place is a disgrace to the Dickey's brand. Please don't visit this location. They served me food scraps, even worse they charged me money to take out their trash. The turkey was beyond burnt. The 2 pieces of brisket they gave me were inedible. One was a big chunk of the fat cap and the other was a slice of bland over-cooked brisket...hard as a rock. It all went in the trash. Normally use get a roll or some bread... nothing. The highlight was the fried okra. The owner was friendly, but lacks any standards and puts profit before quality. You've been warned, spend your money elsewhere!

Came here a few years ago and loved it. Today was the opposite. Brisket and sides were cold (no attempt to even warm them up). Cashier had an attitude and was arguing with the other worker. Place was dead. Will not be back.

I had a catered order and upon arrival noticed what looked like the poor cook was by himself. I dont blame him but he had that panic look on him. No personality or explanation to the people in line. I was not aware my order was ready sitting on the table. Had to wait 40 minutes. Like I said I am not blaming him I felt sorry for him as he constantly looked out the front door like he was waiting for help. Food was great but not sure I would go back. Place looks like not upset you can see grease and dust mixed up on the walls etc. Need a renovation. Owners you paying attention. Might be showing signs that you are in the red not black.

I suppose the food I got was fair to good. But I ordered delivery. No sauce included although I ordered it. Ordered potato salad and didn't get it. Tiny sandwich. Kinda pricey for what you get. I'll choose another place next time.

One employee, she was sent to help save the restaurant, was working hard. She had no help, a broken fryer, an ice machine that wasn't working, a bathroom that was out of order and a smoker that sounded like it was dying. The restaurant was dark, no music and the vibe was every 30 seconds listening to the rotisserie squeaking and squealing like it was dying. Someone set that poor girl up to fail, if she was successful... she was a miracle worker and she needs to work for someone else who sets her up for success. I won't be back. Also, the Dickey's in Wyoming has soft serve and cones next to the drink machine. This one had nothing of the like. :(

I was very disappointed.
Baked potato was cold.
No white sauce, no ice.
1 employee left by herself.
She did a great job with what she was left with.
It was very dark inside.
We weren't sure it was open at first.

Served me two pieces of old disgusting sausage that is BLACK on the outside. There is not a soul here which speaks volumes about this place when you read the reviews. This place looks like it's on the brink of death. Drink machine serves warm flat soda that tastes awful. We won't be back ever again.

This was not a good experience, at all. My wife and I both ordered combo plates - my chicken was dry, the ribs were gross, her pulled pork just wasn’t good. Fried okra was undercooked, French fries were also undercooked, Coke and Dr. Pepper were flat (from the fountain machine) and the ketchup was from a Heinz bottle without a lid. When I was handed my food I was told the green beans were “cold” and asked if I wanted anything else - I was in such disbelief at this question I just said “I’ll give them a shot.”

We couldn’t eat half of the meal; even the stainless steel trays used as plates were absolutely covered in grease - for the record, that means they’re not clean.

Very disappointing and we will not return.

Greeted by a nice smile that immediately turned a bit surly. They were out of some stuff and everything felt oily to the touch. It felt like the lady running the place was barking at me. The whole experience just made me not want to go back.

Came in with family to eat , just moved here wanted to try something new , the girl was very rude just sat there , didn’t get in order , stood inside for 30 minuets , and were told “we’re not ready yet “ horrible experience, hire a better staff , that’s pitiful , the other people inside warned us when we walked in , hire new staff
