El Olmeca Mexican Restaurant

My wife and I really like Mexican food. We’ve been to Mexico several times and ate where the locals ate there. While American-Mexican food restaurants change a few things and cater to American tastes, we look for certain flavors and consistency. We’ve found that at El Olmeca. We have to drive a bit to get here but it’s worth it. The food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good and we like it.

First visit. The food was very good the service was outstanding and priced well. Their guacamole is awesome and the chips n salsa was too. Will definitely return!

When I need to order raw onions just to add flavor to the food I know it’s gonna be bad. Ridiculous. The server only came over twice the whole time. Yeah he didn’t get a tip either

I absolutely love this place, they have amazing service and the food is out quickly, I waited only 5 minutes for 2 burritos, which are by far my favorite burritos I've ever had, very very highly recommend.😁😁

17$ for just a strip steak burrito.

I ordered El Omeca to feed my office staff for the holidays. I've always had positive experiences when I dine in and thought take- out would be just as good. The restaurant is always clean and smells fresh like purple Fabuloso when I dine in and this has never affected the taste of the food. Our take out meals today smelled AND tasted like Fabuloso. Anything with batter (chile relleno), tortilla, or chicken had the very bitter chemical taste. None of us could finish our meals even when we removed it from the containers/packaging. I initially called the restaurant to report the issue, but the person I spoke to proceeded to disregard our concerns by telling me that "the food I ate here today tasted fine" and suggested I report our issues to the delivery service. Fortunately the delivery service refunded us for the items. I am so disappointed in the poor customer service from the restaurant directly. I do not recommend you order take out from this establishment or feel reassured that the customer support will be supportive if you have an issue.

Wonderful in all aspects. The people were very friendly, and the food and service were quick. Immediately seated and chips and drinks were on the table within minutes. Very affordable to, and food was exceptional.

Food was tasty...nothing to make it a go-to place every time we dine for a Mexican night. Server was friendly but missed on getting a couple side dishes out. Food was on the table in 5 minutes after ordering. Drinks are way above average in taste.

Hands down the best Mexican in Huntsville/Madison. Food is always on point whether we order or there door dash. Highly recommend to anyone.
