My husband and I have been to this coffee shop a couple of times. Pros - Lots of parking - Cozy atmosphere - Great service - Great coffee with a ton of flavors to choose from - A menu board - Indoor and outdoor seating Cons - The biggest con for me was the food selection. They have a few sandwiches, some of which are okay and others not that great. - They don't have much in the way of pastries. Maybe a few muffins. - No self-serve water. - Paper cups - Closed on Sundays This is a 3.5 star place for me, but I always round up for Yelp. For the record, any place I give 3.5 is a place I'd be willing to return to, so they're okay. Their not my go-to place for eats, but their redeeming feature is their coffee. They have a huge selection of flavors that have all been really good, and most of them are available year-round.

Loved this spot. Is much bigger than the photos reveal. The coffee is outstanding (much better than Sbux) and the service is super friendly. In addition to the coffee we had a cinnamon scone which tasted fresh and delicious! Was surprised that they have sandwiches and breakfast too. We'll be back soon to try more of the menu!

My last three visits over 3 months involved purchasing between 1-3 large cups of specialty coffee drinks. All “hot”. Every single cup was lukewarm at best. Today’s cup was “buttery finger” and even after I requested it be hot it was warm at best with a very weak coffee taste. At $5.46 for a large specialty coffee it should be hot and strong, instead of cold and weak. I know they can do better and I love the location and atmosphere, but the quality has to improve.

We don’t live in town, but when we visit we’re sure to stop at Flint River. Coffee and lattes are good, baked goods are tasty, the price is nice and the staff have always been pleasant.
There is a mocha named “trail of tears” … very disturbing. Did not want to be confronted by something so inappropriate when just trying to get coffee … will be taking me and my family somewhere less offense next

Was hoping to get a mocha this morning, but then it was labeled as the “Trail of Tears” Mocha on their menu. I can’t fathom why anyone would think that is an appealing or appropriate name. Making light of others suffering is NOT a Christian way to do business.
