I'm from the island of O'ahu where every street corner in downtown near Ala Moana is bursting with Korean Restaurants. I grew up with Millions as a home in the wall Korean Restaurant and Sikdorak for my AYCE Korea BBQ. I recently moved to Huntsville and while I was at a anime con, I was told to try this place out since it's the closest you can get to good Korean food in Huntsville. My boyfriend and I drove here and were quickly seated by the two young waitresses. (Btw they were awesome! Especially the Korean waitress, she and I vibed over past memories of good Korean street food and cup Toppoki). He ordered the two protein Bibimbap with Regular and Spicy Bulgogi. I went with the Galbi Tang. We also ordered an appetizer of Gyeran-Jim (Steamed Egg) to start. The total for the bill was $25 a personThe sides counted as our Banchan. We also had to be $1 extra to get one more choice of Sides. Worth. The food was pretty amazing and very close to what I am used to. The only complaint I have is the Kalbi was so tough! It was if they only cooked it until it was fully cooked then served it instead of making sure the meat was soft. It was really chewy and it started hurting my jaw at some point for how chewy it wass. Otherwise I will go back to try more

Food not fresh. And even with that fact, they were very stingy with their portions. The bowls were the size of my toy tea cup, and that bowl of soup was only 30% full. Also, they add corn syrup (this type of sugar is worse than processed food) to my meats. I know this because corn syrup is detrimental to me just like peanuts are detrimental to some people. Adding sugar to meats is like me adding soy sauce to everything (including feces) and saying "Voila! I present you with Chinese food!".

My family came here while on our trip to the Rocket Center. The food blew me away and months later, I'm still dreaming about this place. If I ever go back to Huntsville, I'm coming back. Everything was amazing.

Food was very good. Spicy but that is what I like. Some of the portions were a little small for the price but we will definitely be back.

Hey Huntsville, we just had an amazing, authentic Korean lunch at Garam Korean Restaurant. If you haven't found this hidden gem yet, you NEED to go check it out. Hands down the BEST Korean food in town with the sweetest and best customer service. Don't judge a book by its cover cause you could miss out on a best seller! If you love Asian cuisine, you have to visit.
Ordered takeout and was thoroughly pleased. Will deff be coming back to dine-in

Good food, bad place to dine in - sketchy location if you're going at night. The one person they have in front of house is swamped, absolutely nothing against her but feels rough watching one person literally run back and forth between the kitchen and kicking the plywood board divider. The soup portions are like a thimble's worth in oversized bowls. They upcharged my tip by two dollars on my credit card, that's fraud, and I imagine they are doing it across the board if that's the case. Won't be back

Party of 6. Service was good. 3 of the 6 enjoyed their food. The others did not because of meat being so tough . kimchi pancake ($14) lacked flavor of the kimchi. Miso soup did not have any flavor. I believe we all agreed on the pancake and miso. We spent $159.00 plus tip. I will say that there were only 2 people there cooking and waiting tables. I'm not sure we will be back. We also bought a Kimchi stew to take home. Menu says Kimchi stew has toufo, veges, kimchi and pork. There was no meat of any kind at all in stew. Only toufo, kimchi and vegetables.

A quiet powerhouse. The outside looks uninviting and admittedly, during lunch time, there were only two other people there when I arrived, so at first I was bit skeptical. However, upon interacting with the wonderful server who walked me through the menu and from the first bite of the bento box, I was hooked. I ordered the Kalbi lunch special which was served with miso soup, dumplings, sushi, noodles, and spicy cucumbers. Everything in the box was a stand-out, but I really enjoyed the mix between the kalbi, fried rice, and cucumber in one bite. Even though I was sad that they didn't have a lot of business, it was heart-warming to know that they have very loyal customers as I heard the server preemptively knowing the customer's orders. Keep supporting this delicious local restaurant.
