Gerry’s country kitchen & Deli

A really nice grease spoon of soul food, uncommon in a gas station. ExxonMobil and Chevron are supposed to be pretty good gas, and Gerry's is a silver lining to this gas station. It's always busy but always has what you need, and even a little extra. The desserts, especially the red velvet cake, are excellent. The owners and their family are all really nice, and even the gas station owners' relatives and employees are very respectful and nice, and it is nice to see them demand respect back. Everybody deserves respect That's just common decency but that's another story. It's been a pleasure getting to know everyone. Pulaski Pike is a big road, but this is probably the best place to eat on it—the best gas station, with a little something for everyone.

First & LAST time trying. Over priced & one of the servers were so rude & miserable, I had to ask if everything was ok with her. The grilled leg quarter was dry, the Mac & “cheese” didn’t have any cheese “ the hamburger steak was ok, my mom said everything was nasty & not even worth $5. I paid $20 didn’t finish any of it. If you’re going to sell over priced food, make sure it’s good & have amazing customer service.🚮

Amazing grab and go place. The food tasted like it was made with 100% love. I had the catfish, mac n cheese, and greens. Fantastic!

Great variety, consistent great southern comfort food. Cornbread I love. The staff always makes me feel welcomed, comfortable and happy. I live in Harvest but on Saturdays I make it a point to drive to Gerrys.

Food is really good here! Big catfish fillets fried perfectly, big fried pork chops, whole wings. The sides are really good too. Definitely worth a try when you want some good soul food.

Driven by this place probably 100 times seeing the smokers going and it always smelling amazing and always saying I need to stop here. Finally did because half day of school and my son reminding me on our way home. This gas station "deli" is absolutely fantastic. Great people, great service, great food. Home made taste on the ribs, gravy, sauce, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese. I don't care if any of it isn't made from scratch because it all tastes like it is and it's probably one of the most affordable BBQ places around right now.

Legit the best food I’ve ever eaten in this city, hands down. I’d pick Gerry’s over literally every food spot in hsv. It’s in the top tier of soul food spots from here to atl. For the locals, I love G’s & Bettie Mae’s but it’s Gerry’s that’s got me heading across town on a monday I could’ve stayed in bed to get some of Gerry’s spaghetti. HIGHLY REC the chicken noodle situation, the best spaghetti ever, the green beans, & the bbq sauce(!!!) w the chx quarter.

I know you lying... Overpriced this aint catfish its swai, mac&cheese soft as all get out & you gave me some seasoned glory greens...Just go to G's up the street, Best Wings or something this messed up how we do our own* What Atmosphere? I posted a picture too they wrong for this*

Overcharged when a coworker got the same exact thing I got claims I got a extra chicken but we both got three pieces his was 8.71 and mine was 14.15 so a piece of chicken is 5

Delicious food and friendly service. This was my first time visiting, so I decided to try quite a few different things. The cat fish was my absolute favorite so crispy so delicious cooked just right. The country ribs were also cooked perfectly and had a great flavor to them. The pork ribs were also very very good especially when adding the barbecue sauce they threw in.I tried the chicken and dumplings again quite tasty the dumplings had a wonderful peppery flavor with a smooth buttery feel when he chewed them up. I would recommend going by for a visit. I know I’ll be back.
