Best cookies ever and great service!

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Great American Cookie Company that I feel compelled to share. My grandmother went in to pick up a cake for my brother's birthday, and unfortunately, they spelled his name incorrectly which she did not catch while picking up. We called the next day, and while they agreed to fix it, the second cake was wrong as well—even after we spelled the name multiple times to avoid any confusion.

When we brought this to the staff's attention, one of the women had an unprofessional attitude and seemed dismissive. Instead of providing a solution, she scraped off the incorrect letter and did a rushed job on the new one, despite us clearly stating we just wanted a refund. To our surprise, she flatly refused and continued to make a mess of the cake.

The final product looked terrible, and what should have been a special birthday celebration for my brother ended up being a letdown. As long-time customers of this location, we were deeply disappointed by the lack of consideration and the rudeness of the employees. While we did eventually receive a refund, it doesn’t change the fact that our experience was unacceptable and ultimately ruined my brother’s birthday. We won’t be returning to this location again.

The m and m cookies are the best here! I like the double doozies. The staff is always friendly.

Wonderfully Decorated but the cookie was sooo thin it was crispy.
Very disappointing for the amount it costs.

Was in line to get a cookie. While waiting I watched one of the girls ( blue hair wearing headphones) prepping dough use her gloved hand to scratch her face then proceeded to go back to working with the dough without changing gloves. Grossed me out so I left the line without ordering. Mall location

my mother went to the store and asked if they could make a sugar cookie cake which they replied no that we have to order a few days in advance. so my mother called in advance for said sugar cookie cake. we were not given a sugar cookie cake it was a chocolate chip cookie cake. which it wouldn’t be a big deal but it was 46 dollars and i don’t like chocolate, and it’s MY birthday. ANS on the box it clearly states ready in 15 minutes. why order in advance if it takes 15 minutes? upon picking up cake my mother purchased some pumpkin icing cookies and asked for separate box so icing would not get squished. cashier told my mom she could have a bag in which she placed said cookie on the bottom of the bag. she also placed 6 other cookies on top of said pumpkin icing cookie. needless to say it got squished. calling tomorrow morning for new cake.

Paid $65 for my sons birthday cookie cake… lacking detail and clearly looks rushed. Icing is not as thick in certain areas, stuff not centered, etc. was given the run around on black icing being dried up the morning I needed my cake. If you want a stress free experience, and a decorator who actually knows what they’re doing and takes their time, I’m sure you could find literally any other location to go to.

Went to them today to grab something for me and my wife while I was out. Went up to the counter and then one lady working there decided to focus on someone passing by (that was not a customer). The lady working there was more concerned with the necklace of the person passing by. After that the other lady there had to focus on the necklace to. I just walked off. Rude af.

This review is strictly for the cookies. All the people I have encountered that work there have been extremely friendly. The past 5 times I have purchased cookies, the results have been below par. The cookies fell apart and they did not taste good either. I usually purchase the BUY 5 GET 1 FREE deal and today I took two bites out of two different style cookies and threw them away due to how bad they tasted. I will choose to spend $15 elsewhere next time.
