Had an absolutely fantastic evening at The Grill on Main this past Friday. I sat at the bar and the atmosphere was great—vibrant yet relaxed.
The service was outstanding, especially from our bartender, Chaz. He took great care of me all night and crafted some extremely tasty drinks!
For dinner, I had the black cod special, and it was truly divine. It was buttery, perfectly cooked, and literally melted in my mouth. The sauce complemented it beautifully.
Fantastic atmosphere, excellent food, and wonderful service. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Chaz!

Food and drinks amazing. Customer service amazing! 10/10 highly recommend. My finance and I came here from Memphis for our anniversary and so happy we did. Bartenders, Chas and Carson are amazing! We will be back.

Steak was prepared well, but the special included rizoto and it was raw and crunchy. Place was pretty empty for dinner time. Wouldn't rush to go back any time soon.

Food and service was phenomenal, and the porch seating was somewhat comfortable once the heaters were turned off. However on the patio a ton of cockroachs came out of the outside walls at the very end of dinner. Eating on the patio is definitely a better experience during the day, or just eat inside if possible.

I can't say enough how thankful we are for the exceptional experience and memorable occasion we had on October 12th with my son and his new wife's wedding reception. The staff responded to all of our needs, served the food in a timely manner so that it was still hot when we received it and made for a very memorable occasion. They provided us with five different entree choices all of which were exceptionally good. Certainly a party destination for any large group and my wife and I intend to frequent it for ourselves in the near future.

Let me start off by saying I will happily change my rating if the company decides to be honest. I frequent the Providence area almost every week to eat and have a few drinks. Well, my wife, friends and I decided to grab something supposedly better by stopping at grill on main.
The bartender, which knew exactly what was happening and still went with it and remained silent.
We all 4 ordered the Lobster bisque to start and when it came out, it looked ok but it smelled different than what I'm used to. After tasting it I knew immediately it was SHRIMP!!! not lobster. Who the hell sells Lobster Bisque with shrimp in it instead of lobster. What chef sends out shrimp instead of the advertised Lobster?? That just isn't ok...
The sad part is both bartenders knew exactly what it was and never said a word hoping that we would be stupid.

Arrival feels upbeat with a touch of Southern innovation

The food was very good however the cocktails were dismal at best. Incorrect pour and overwhelmed with the mixer left the beverage very bland.

We were so excited to try the Grille on Main based on all the good things we have heard about it. Unfortunately the service for us was not good at all. The server came around maybe 10 minutes after we sat down and it took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks. The food itself took almost an hour to come out and wasn’t even hot when it did. My husband got the crème brulle french toast which was good but weird since it wasn’t brulle(d) which is the point of creme brulle. I got the steak and eggs, the eggs were cold and over cooked (very rubbery) the steak and sauce however was cooked good and was very tasty. Unfortunately we will not be coming back due to the poor service for what you pay.
