Handel's Ice Cream, Jones Valley Al

Always delicious! They take allergies very seriously, I’m a symptomatic celiac and they offer a comprehensive list of allergens in their ice creams. Milkshakes are malt free (unless requested) and they use separate scoops.

Google says open till 10. We got there before 9 and they wouldn’t serve us. Even though they could clearly see us out there, they were cleaning up and wouldn’t even come to the window. Horrible service.

Blue bell who? Best ice cream place ever.

This is our second time ordering online. What is the point of having a designated online order pickup window if I’m having to wait upwards of 20 minutes (after my confirmed pickup time) to even be acknowledged? Both times ended up going to the side ordering window to pickup and when I voiced what had happened there was no apology issued at the very least. Ice cream is good but the customer service stinks.

I really love this ice cream shop and that it why I've chosen to give it a hard 3. Every other time I go there, the staff is either closing an hour early or the time isn't right on Google. I dont know which is which, but hopefully with this review the owners will see that customers do want to come spend money at 9:05 pm if the time is wrong on Google and you do close at 9pm on a tuesday. If the store hours are incorrect, you are slowly but surely driving away paying customers.
We went by there Tuesday night at 9:04 and the open lights were off and the employee locked the window, so we went to Baskin Robins. Not exactly what we wanted but it cured our fix and had their hours properly posted.

Christian did a great job on making my order correct. Great service and nice, friendly. He deserves a raise😊Highly satisfied 5️⃣⭐️

Our family absolutely loves Handel’s Ice Cream at Four Mile Post Road! We get samplers, cones, cups, even quarts of it to take home to our kiddos! We like trying new and seasonal flavors as well. Their ice creams are extra delicious because they make them freshly daily, in house. We highly recommend you try them, all year round!

Been there twice about a week apart to get a milkshake. Both times they said “they couldn’t make a milkshake because they are out of milk.”
