Loved the ice cream!
Loved the ice cream. Large portions.
1st time at this location... didn't disappoint. Line was long but moved quickly.
Handels is my favorite!
1st time trying and wasn't impressed. We got choc peanut butter and cotton candy. The cotton candy flavor was ok but there were some kind of candy mixed in that wasnt good and really not sweet, I don't know what they were. The peanut butter it was, it really, really dark brown and had a few pieces of peanut butter in it, but it just wasn't very good. Baskin Robbins blows this place away.
Great service
Great service with a smile š
I arrived when they opened and was unsure which window to go to (first time), out of the many windows. Several employees were inside but nobody directed me. I stood there confused for a couple of minutes, and the owner arrived at the same time and asked something along the lines of whether I was being helped (I couldn't quite hear him, but there was definitely a tone of concern). Just then an employee opened a window and I had my answer. I ordered a medium peach cup and it was quite large, so that was nice. It was $6 and I wrote in a $1 tip. Unfortunately she didn't say thank you (always acknowledge the tip with a thank you... common courtesy/good manners). The ice cream was good, but not as creamy or tasty as I expected. Cute little shop, though.
Three stars for the ice cream itself. We got pints to take home.. the Vanilla cherry was basically flavorless, and the peanut butter brownie had a whole two pieces of brownie and a chunk of peanut butter. I think Iāll stick to good ole reliable Blue Bell from the store.
Service and location are good, though.
The smallest scoop you can get is 2.5 massive scoops. There is no option for a kids cone outside of the ābaby coneā which can only be vanilla soft serve. I asked for a lot of napkins knowing a toddler with an absurdly large ice cream would be messy and was given four napkins. Overall wonāt return for the lack of options on scoop size. Even outside of the toddler needing less than 2.5 scoops, I donāt know many adults who want a cone the size of their head every time they get ice cream. Ended up having to throw away 2/3 of my cone because it was so large the heat was melting it faster than I could eat it.
Great service an even better ice cream great prices

Multiple times this summer, my husband has picked us up some ice cream and brought it home for us to enjoy. The freshness and the flavor is fine. Where I have a problem is the fact that if I get Buckeye, I want Buckeyes in it. If I get cookie dough, I want cookie dough in it. We will get 3/4 through a pint and have MAYBE 3 pieces of whatever add-in is supposed to be in it. You can't call chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream that if it's vanilla with two pieces of cookie dough in it. Getting ice cream from a shop like this is too expensive to not be getting what you're really paying for.
Really, really good ice cream.
Salty caramel truffle is the most delicious ice cream flavor I've ever had.
Update 07/18/25 - salty caramel truffle remains the most delicious ice cream flavor I've ever had.
Delicious
Handels ice cream is consistently good. Never had a flavor I didnāt like or a concern about freshness. For this visit, I had the Pistachio ice cream and my wife had the key lime ice cream. Both were delicious. Due to its popularity there is usually a line. But it moves quickly.
